1.2.5 “Continue forward for about a hundred yards,” the commander said, and Colton, still blind, did just that. It had been this way for the last twenty minutes. He had left the hotel room, climbed down the stairs, walked around the parking lot, and was now—to his knowledge—walking north on Bellflower Boulevard. It was a busy street and occasional cars zoomed by, but by and large it wasn’t frequented by pedestrians much, so his sightless stroll down the sidewalk was uneventful.
