24. Let's Make A Run For It!
Our plan was simple, retrieve the staff and use it to support our claim. After years of being extinguished, the fire in the staff has ignited...that would be our proof that lucifer has actually been reincarnated. As for proof that I am his reincarnation, I just needed to touch the staff with everyone here as witness. Apparently, in the past, demons aside from Lucifer could not wield the staff. If they try to, it will rattle in their hands and burn their palms to crisp. That is freaky, but also very convenient. We were also planning on hiding the fact that I am human, which is why they fixed me up with horns and stuff. But despite our efforts everything seems to be going downhill.
