And so she did all she could to make conversation without pressing him for any kind of response. She didn't want him to feel pressured into saying or doing something that might put a damper on the evening. But she also wanted to keep him in check.
After they finished eating, Rebecca cleared away their plates and set them aside. Then, she walked over to the kitchen counter and grabbed two glasses of ice water. They both took one glass and headed back to the dining room.
They sat across from each other as they drank their water. The air was thick with s****l tension between them.
"What are you up to tomorrow?" Michael asked quietly.
Rebecca shrugged. "I don’t have any plans."
"Really? You're not planning on going out with your friends?"
She shook her head. "No, I'm sorry. But there's no way I can get away right now. So..."
He nodded. "Okay, well if you ever change your mind, let me know."
Rebecca smiled. "You'll be the first to know."
Michael grinned. "Now that's what I like to hear. You just keep telling me you don't have any plans and we can see where this goes, okay?"
His words were simple, but Rebecca felt the heat rush through her entire body. She almost sighed aloud when she realized what he was implying.
But she held herself in check.
She lowered her gaze and stared deeply into his dark eyes. The look on his face told her he was waiting for an answer.
Rebecca looked down at the table and forced herself to speak before she lost all control. "I guess I'd better go then," she said softly.
Michael nodded, but he didn't say another word. He watched her walk past him and head back towards the front door.
As she reached the doorway, Rebecca turned around and leaned against the wall next to it. Her eyes never left his.
Then, slowly, she began to smile.
It wasn't long before Rebecca heard the sound of the front door opening and closing.
When she glanced over at Michael, he was standing in the middle of the living room. His hands were resting casually on his hips. His expression was playful, but his eyes were focused intently on her.
Rebecca slowly crossed the room and walked up to him. When she was close enough, she placed a hand on his chest and gently pushed him backwards towards the couch.
"Oh, come on," he said playfully. "Let's just go upstairs."
Rebecca shook her head. "Not yet," she said as she reached over him and grabbed the front of his shirt.
She pulled it open and ran her fingers down his bare chest. Then, she moved closer to him and kissed him.
Michael groaned softly as her lips met his. Then, he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her tightly against him.
Their kiss deepened quickly. Their tongues danced together as their bodies pressed firmly together. Rebecca moaned softly when Michael finally lifted her off her feet and carried her backwards towards the couch.
He laid her down on top of the sofa and stood up above her. Am not in the mood. Let's just go to sleep. This night already and I need rest.
Michael's voice was low and raspy. And he sounded tired.
Rebecca laughed. "Not a chance," she said as she traced her fingers across his chest. She loved the feeling of his warm skin beneath her fingertips.
Michael grinned. "You got me," he said.
Rebecca nodded. "Yeah, I did. Now lie down."
He rolled onto his side and looked down at her. "How do you want me?"
She smiled. "On your back."
Michael complied instantly and lay flat on his back.
Rebecca climbed on top of him and straddled him. She reached down and grasped the waistband of his boxers. As she pulled them down, Michael gasped.
Her eyes widened slightly when she saw the shape of his erection outlined clearly against his smooth, pale skin. But she quickly glanced up at him and gave him a reassuring smile.
"Don't worry," she whispered. "I'll take care of it."
And she did.

Afterward, Rebecca crawled beneath the covers on her side of the bed. She snuggled up against Michael and began stroking his hair.
"Are you okay?" she asked softly.
Michael smiled. "Of course," he replied. "I'm just really tired. That's all."
Rebecca nodded. "Well, I know you got a lot of sleep today. But I think you should probably get some more tonight. We've got a busy day tomorrow."
Michael smiled again. "Maybe you're right. You know, I haven't been sleeping very well lately."
Rebecca frowned. "I'm sorry."
"It's okay," he said as he shifted closer to her. "I just wish I could get some uninterrupted sleep every once in a while."
Rebecca smiled and kissed his forehead. "We'll find something to make you feel better soon."
She watched as Michael fell asleep immediately. She gently caressed his cheek and whispered goodnight.

Michael awoke to sunlight shining through the bedroom window. He opened his eyes to see Rebecca lying next to him with her legs hanging over the edge of the bed.
Michael raised himself up on his elbow and gazed at her face as it relaxed into a peaceful sleep. His eyes trailed up her neck and rested on her full breasts. Her n*****s peaked up towards the ceiling. As he reached down to touch them, his hand brushed against something soft under her shirt.
Rebecca started awake. Her blue eyes snapped open.
"Hey," Michael greeted as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes. "Sorry for waking you."
She yawned and stretched. "I will have to be going to my family house. I have spent enough time with you. But, you can call me whenever." She leaned down and planted a quick kiss on his lips.
Michael wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close to him. "I will. Don't forget, though."
Rebecca laughed lightly and untangled herself from his arms. "Don't worry." She slipped out from under the blankets and got up. "I won't."
She quickly dressed, grabbed her purse and coat, and headed towards the front door. She opened it and paused for a moment before walking out. "Goodbye Michael," she said as she closed the door behind her.
