"Why wait for another day, Mr. Yin? I say we just go for it tonight. The sooner the better," Rocky Knight said, his voice low but revealing every bit of his long-concealed ambition.
"Do we have a good window of opportunity?" Mr. Yin took a step closer, his tone equally cautious.
Even without anyone around, people always act extra careful when scheming something illegal.
"Isn't the celebration party tonight?" Rocky’s eyes lit up with a cold gleam. "All the noise and people, it’s the perfect chaos. Wouldn’t be that surprising if something… unfortunate happened to the chairwoman."
Mr. Yin gave a knowing grin and straightened up. "Leave it to me. Don't worry, you and I—we’ve always been on the same team."
Rocky was more than happy to let Mr. Yin take the lead on this.
