As they stood under the warm water, Damon's fingers gentle and soothing on Rosalina's skin, she felt a sense of trust wash over her. "It was my father," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "He was a cruel man, Damon. He never loved me, never showed me any kindness." Rosalina felt a sense of relief wash over her, like a weight had been lifted off her shoulders.
