Nervously, I stood watching the audience in the theater, outside the stage, waiting and watching all the presentations with attention. That contest was very different from the previous ones I had been in with the school, not only because of the kind of people who were here with me but also because of the mode of the contest itself. Everything seemed so rushed... The people in charge of the place came recurrently to remind the participants that we had only 5 minutes for our presentation and that the time started from the moment they stepped on the stage.
I guess it's because of the number of participants that were there, since it was an open call and for all ages, even around me I could notice a large crowd of people, patiently waiting their turn to shine in the contest.
