THE DEADLY SEVEN

The air was thick with tension. Whispers had been heard amongst the kingdom, he was mad, Adam and Eve broke the rules. The first "sin". Everyone was in a state of shock. I can't lie, I am worried. I have been committing many small "sins". I prided myself on my good looks, my high position, my ability to solve problems and my private gift, if you catch my drift. This pride has started to lead me down a path I am not sure I can waver from. The feeling is euphoric, feeling high from your own attributes is unlike any other. Actually, everything that is banned causes the most intense feelings of joy. I strut down the long marble hallway, winking at a group of low ranking angels giggling. I run my hands through my short black hair and flash them a smile, they gasp and huddle closer. " Lucifer" his voice echoed off the walls ringing though the hallway. I calmly nodded and followed quietly. " close the door" his voice was low, it was threatening, I felt my stomach drop. " Do not think I have not noticed your recent disobedience" his words rang through my ears. He knows! " What are you talking about" I answer with caution. " The pride, the lies, the lower ranked angels! Lucifer, what are you doing! I can't protect you if this is your path" his voice sounded pained. I had been one of his closest Archangels for as long as I could remember. He had protected me, my antics were never terrible, but of late I have been testing the waters. " look, I will stop. OK?" I said with resolve. I am sure I could pass those nice little pieces with out a second glance. " It's gone to far this time Luc" he sighed and rested his head against his palms. Behind him, his father appeared and placed a large hand onto his shoulder " Lucifer, your actions go against my good word, you disobey my scriptures and now I have no choice but to banish you to the mortal world, you will live for the rest of time to walk and repent for your sins." His voice rang with conviction and anger. I moved to stand, to fight my conviction, my strong arms pushing me forcefully from the chair " This is your mistake, you will see in time." I slammed the chair behind me then everything went black. A cold wind whipped past me, chilling me to my core. They actually did it! I would never feel this way back in Heaven. I had to be on Earth. My heart sank, my pride was shattered. I had to rebuild, I had to chase those feelings again. I craved the euphoric feeling of pride once again. If he wanted to take from me I would turn his Sheeple against him. It would be a long road, it would not be easy, but mark my words, I Lucifer, will make you God regret ever banishing me to this mortal Hell. Now for the fun to begin, who could I turn into my first sin. Who could I share this feeling of pride with? Hey all, please leave me some feedback. This is just a wild thought I had the other day.
