Chapter 49🌶️- Dirty Therus

Kieran POV

We paused long enough for me to let Helga know we'd have breakfast, for three, in our room. She'd giggled back through the link but not commented. My team was aware that we had a third mate, obviously. In less than fifteen minutes, a cart laden with crispy golden hashbrowns, ham, sausage, bacon, and fluffy scrambled eggs topped with cheddar, plus orange juice and coffee, was brought to our room. I tossed on a robe, letting my mates linger on the bed as Anais recounted her life to Erik. His growls were almost identical to my own reactions, and I had to grin. The poor omega with the cart looked uncertain how to react to such a look from me, besides the fact I'm sure she could smell the bear in our room, but curtsied and left.

After devouring everything in the cart, we simply laid together, caressing each other and talking about our childhoods. I could tell that Erik was just as pained about how Anais had grown up as I was. He kept pulling her to his chest and sticking his face in her neck where he had marked her, and I could feel it through our bond. She patted his shoulder, also knowing he was distressed with nowhere to let it out. He turned his head to me, eyes completely black.

"We must kill Ludolf." He ground out, clearly Therus on the surface. I sighed. "And this Donato," he added, his contempt clear. I went over and grabbed my laptop. Anais was in the middle of the bed with Erik taking up the other side, so I sat in the open space on her left, propping the computer open. I navigated to the elder council website and passed the device to Anais, who looked at me questioningly.

"We need to add an amendment that Erik is our mate, go hálainn." I said gently. She quickly found where she could do so and got everything submitted. Erik had quirked a brow at me, clearly wondering why I didn't just do it myself. I blushed. "Until Anais came here two weeks ago, we didn't use computers, outside of our cell phones. She set everything up, including our security systems." Erik grinned, kissing her on the cheek.

"Our genius mate, huh? Anything else you guys might have left out?" I looked at our marks, which had evolved. We all had the same initial mark that Anais and I had, except the empty space had a bear facing forward between the heart the wolves made, and knotwork wrapped around the back of our necks to the other side where each of our second marks were, showing a knotwork sun. I noticed Erik also had the same ring finger knotwork that we did. I cleared my throat. "Well, we are royalty, actually. Like you, Bear Prince." Erik's eyes went huge. "And, though normally our powers and abilities don't transfer, you might want to do a little self-inventory. Anais is supposed to be the Luna Queen, though what exactly that means, we aren't certain." I rushed out. "Check out your marks, babe, both of you." I said to them, heading into the bathroom.

They trailed after me, looking at their respective, frankly massive, marks. Guess it was good we all liked tattoos. I giggled, and they both shot me a look as I smelled their respective arousal. Poor things, still in heat and rut, and of course that mean, horny as hell.

As if you aren't too, Ri'dubh huffed. Still trying to hide s**t and act like the man in charge. Let them help you Kier, they would not want you to suffer in silence.

"Sorry I just, thought it was a good thing we like tattoos given how massive our marks are, you know?" Anais put her hand on her hips, eyes narrowed. Ri'dubh purred, and she shook her head in annoyance at his attempts to soothe her. We wandered back towards the bed. She flipped her body towards me, pointing her finger in my chest.

"Now that you're all marked, mated and sated, you just have to get us all riled up, don't you?" She accused.

"Go hálainn, I said before, didn't I, that Erik has work to do? Our window of opportunity is closing, and he's only got one in there so far. And today we have to try and reach out to the Werecat Queen. Ri'dubh senses trouble brewing." I retorted right back.

"Are we back on feelings again, mon coeur. I thought that was your mom's thing." She smirked. I sighed.

"I wish I could say it's nothing, but if my wolf is worried, he's not usually wrong." I insisted, and Erik reached over to pat my shoulder, trying to offer me solace. Funny that my Luna was trying to fight with me while my co-Alpha was trying to make peace? I think so.

"I believe you, handsome." He winked. I shuddered. "You're going to join in though, right?" He pouted. Goddess, he was cute. Already all-in, this Kodiak.

"You need to knot her at least two more times, once in beast form, probably. My joining in is probably going to be a low priority till you get your cubs. Thankfully, our room is large enough to accommodate your bear. Good thing I wanted vaulted ceilings." I said teasingly.

"I can knot her?" His eyes were black, his voice harsh and raspy as Therus made his presence known. Anais patted his arm lovingly.

"Of course you can, mon bijou." A growl tore out of his chest and he was off the bed in an instant. Within seconds, Therus was before us in full Kodiak glory.

Before I could reply, I felt his massive head at my entrance. While Erik and Kieran were blessedly endowed, Therus was otherwordly.
