Jhessail shifted uncomfortably at the intense stare from the stranger. The balcony was dimly lit for her to make out the appearance of the young boy. However, she caught the scent of roses and vanilla oozing out of him.
The scent wafted into her nostrils captivating her sense of smell. She leaned back against the wall to get some sort of stability in her stance.
The young boy stood like a statue, unmoving and staring at her without blinking. Watching her through his red werewolf eyes, taking her appearance in. As though painting a lasting image of Jhessail in his mind.
"The prince of Lavena might fall in love with you if he ran into you," he spoke after moments of silence.
Jhessail swallowed hard. She hoped the boy was wrong. His words made Jhessail want to get on her heels and make a run for it. To a place where the prince won't be able to see her.
Nevertheless, she was representing her father. As he was an alpha, she had no choice but to stay.
"It's cold, come inside," the boy ushered. He turned around and headed into the room. Jhessail trailed behind him, as he led her into the room. He steps aside and lets Jhessail inside, she takes in the room.
The room was as pristine as the rest of the hotel. Jhessail understood why the king chose that hotel to host the come-of-age party for his son.
"Can I fix you a drink?" the boy asked her politely. His tone was kind and so was the offer but he had a commanding presence to him that gave Jhessail the shivers.
Jhessail nodded. Playing with her fingers timidly. The boy smiled. She appeared like a little kitten to him. It didn't help that she stole glances at him when she thought he wasn't noticing "Use your beautiful voice to respond, little kitten," he spoke.
His voice was magnetic, drawing Jhessail's eyes to him. The boy takes a few moments to fix her a drink and set it in front of her. Jhessail reaches out to take the drink, but she misjudges the distance between them and knocks the glass with the drink all over the boy.
"Oh my god!" shudders traveled down her spine. She was too shocked to move. "I'm so so..sorry," her voice broke as she apologized.
The boy shucks his shirt readily. Revealing a sculpted torso that makes Jhessail's jaw drop. Her eyes were glued to his topless chest. Her mouth became dry.
"Wow, your chest is like...like...," she failed to get the right word to describe it. The boy shot her a stunned gaze.
Jhessails tries to ignore the smirk the boy gives her when she mentions his chest. He subtly flexes a bicep. Jhessail gulped.
"What about my chest?" he teases.
He concentrates his glance at Jhessail. The scent of vanilla grew stronger in the air. Like a dizzying drug, Jhessail felt high, light on her feet.
She raised her gaze and locked eyes with him. Her eyes met with warm icy blue eyes staring back at her. Jhessail halted, her stare softening. She found it hard to breathe.
She took a minute to take in the features of the stranger. The young man was easy on the eyes, his body was well-proportioned and defined. His slightly huge frame gave off an aura of protectiveness.
His toplessness left nothing to the imagination of his muscled chest. He stood slanted to the bad stand looking sleek and poised.
He had a prominent chin with a cleft in the middle of the chin. A squared jawline with a gonial angle, a narrow forehead.
His bristly eyebrows brought out his icy blue eyes which shined with a glimmer of interest. Like two sapphires dipped in a milky pool. They bewitched all those who fell under his steady gaze.
His eyes were almond-shaped. A hawkish straight nose by his tightly pressed soft pink towards his flinty jaw.
His blonde hair was soft, messy, and flowing in all directions. Jhessail was tempted to run her hands in his hair and fix it.
The young man had the physics of a male model. Molded from a different cast than the boys Jhessail had the privilege of knowing.
He looked as though he was sculpted and pared to perfection. The young man radiated energy like the glowing sun.
Jhessail blinked repeatedly, unable to formulate words to ask the perfect stranger who he was. Instead, she remained still, eating him up with her eyes.
He was a feast.
"See something you like, princess?" The young boy teased her.
Jhessail blushed. She snapped out of her daze and averted her eyes from the young man. She took a moment to compose herself.
'No one should be allowed to look that good,' she complained in her mind. She sneaked a glance at the boy to confirm his presence in the room.
Jhessail feared she imagined the perfect boy. Contrary to her expectations, the boy stood there watching her with a smirk planted on his lips.
"What's your name, little kitty?" the boy asked.
"It's Jhessail. With a double S," she immediately mumbled nervously. "But you can call me Jhess."
"It's nice to meet you, Jhessial with a double S," the boy joked and let out a chuckle at her obvious attraction to him.
Jhessail lost herself looking at him. Entranced by his looks and the sweet sound of his laughter. Dazzled by the incomparable beauty of his face.
The young boy took the moment to take in Jhessail's features. Her was as fair as snow, her crescent-shaped eyes twinkled as they expressed her desire. He found she had a pleasant round-shaped face.
Wearing light makeup and little to no ornaments to accompany her look, she was the perfect definition of simplicity at its finest.
He appraised her beauty internally. "Do let me know when you'll be done feasting on my body with your eyes," he sounded. Feigning his delight in the attention Jhessail gave him.
He loved the way she looked at him. Her eyes were unwavering and her desire was unmasked. It was the most expressive and sincere glance he had ever received from a girl.
"If you don't stop staring at me. I'm going to kiss you," he threatened her. His eyes were attracted to her pink lips.
His words fell on deaf ears. Jhessail could hear his voice but not the words he spoke. She was held captive by his good looks.
