Wildest Dreams

Checking the time on my old black berry phone that was gifted to me for my 17th birthday from my adoptive parents only to see that is just 8:30 pm and my shift would be ending at 11, with a deep sigh I went to take my next orders. After 2 hours of relentless working i finally took my break, flopping down in a booth beside my co-worker and bestfriend ashley. We have been besties for as long as I can remember, we don't have alot in common with her being a party girl and I'm a book worm. She don't believe in love at first sight an then there's me on the other hand, she's from a wealthy family an me so not, but she doesn't boast about and that's what i admire about her. She also have a brother name Hayden who happened to enrolled in Harvard university, and if I haven't mentioned before ashley also enrolled with us. "So zoey, like how it's the weekend and the diner won't be opening due to some family emergency and you won't be doing anything, I heard that kayden is throwing this wild super wild party and I want you to come with me". Staring at ashley like she have grown two heads, I said ash you know that's not my scene I'd rather stay home watch Netflix and read a good book and besides he's popular and I'm a nobody I don't want to be seen at his party. "Please, please, please pretty please I'll even go on my knees if i have to zoey you know how i get when i have too much to drink i need you there with me". Sigh, if i agree to go with you will you stop bug me an let me eat my lunch in peace I'm starving. "Yes, yes of course thank you Zoey babe I know I could count on you". Yeah, yeah, yeah now let me eat, after finishing my cheese burger, chip an coke our 30 minutes break was up and it was back to work, because it's a friday there's alot of people from our university. While taking a order the door bell chimed indicating that there was a new customer, heading off to ring up the things that was ordered.  Zoey, Ashley called, can you get table 15 I'm going to attend to another customer, nodding at her i grabbed my notepad an went over to the table that was assign to me. Reaching their table i realized it was kayden and his friends plastering a fake smile i said, Hi I'm Zoey, I'll be severing you, can i take your orders?, we just got here can you at least give us a minute to make up our minds, said the dumb b***h Kimberly, gosh i hate the b***h. When i was about to leave Aiden stopped me, I think were ready to order now, taking out my notepad and my pen I asked what can I get you, 1 big coke, fries, nugget and a cheese burger said aiden. Turning to Jayden i asked, and whats for you, banana smoothie and 2 slices of pineapple pizza, Let me have a sprite and 2 slices of pepperoni pizza said Hayden. And what for you Kimberly, I'll have a strawberry milkshake, cheeseburger and fries. Clearing my throat i turned to kayden to asked what for you, But the moment our eyes met it was like i was hypnotize, it was like i was drowning in the depths of his blue orbs, it reminds me of the beach so beautiful and relaxing i would spend an eternity staring in those beautiful eyes. Clearing of throat, I'd suggest you stopped staring at my boyfriend an get our orders before i called for the manager, Kimberly said. So embarrassed i was caught staring i make a you turn to ring up there orders with my face red as a tomato, an to further added to my embarrassment i tripped over my foot, getting up off the floor i saw them laughing at my clumsiness. What happened over there that got them tearing up, ashley asked. Groaning, please don't remind me, I'm so embarrassed an then i got to bring there orders back over there. Can't you bring it i don't want to face them, i said giving my best puppy eyes. "Zoey you know i can't it's against the rules, but for you I'll make an exception". Thank you, thank you, thank you, your the best ash I owe you one after getting there orders in place i watched as ashley make her way over, while i attend to a next customer. After serving everyone it was time to closed the diner, mop the floor, clean the tables ect. After finishing up our task with the rest of our co-workers we say our goodbyes. Zoey i won't make you take the bus so come an let me give you a ride home, ashley said. Agreeing because i was too tired to argue i make my way over to her shiny 2019 BMW. Pulling up at my adoptive parents house, the place i grow to called home it consist of two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and living room, before making my way out of the car i hug her while bidding her a good night an save drive home. Opening up the front door i make my way upstairs to my bedroom, after changing my work clothes for comfy pyjamas i make my way over to my bed an let the darkness consume me. ☆☆☆☆☆☆ Waking up to the sound of my ring tone Hello, i said in my sleepy voice, "Are you still in bed, you got to be kidding me, remember kayden's party and we got to shop for outfits", Really ash the party won't start until dust why'd you call so early. "Hello it's after 1 in the afternoon". Hearing the time that got me completely wide awake, i can't believe i slept in this lake, college and work is really taking a toll on my body. "I'll be over in a few so we can go dress shopping an when i get there you better be dress". Saying a yes mom i ended the call. After a quick shower, i half braid my hair and catch it in a bun, going to my dresser i grabbed my outfit. After applying a little mascara i reach over my night stand for me phone an make my way down the stairs, i spotted dad in the living room watching the game. Hey dad, "hey kiddo, your well dress you going some where?", Yeah ash an i are going to the mall to shop for a dress for a party later, "it's been ages since i lost saw little ashley, so do you have money for you dress, here is 2 hundred get yourself something pretty", dad you know i don't like to spend your money i have my own, "take it an don't argue with me young lady". Nodding while putting the money inside my purse i asked where's mom, "she's in the kitchen dear", standing up placing a kiss on his cheek i make my way to the kitchen. Hi mom, "hey sweet heart your looking super pretty today, are you going out?", yeah ash an i are going dress shopping for a party, "where is this party missy?", at kayden's place said chewing on my pancakes. Before she could question me any further i heard a horn blowing outside knowing it's ashley i kissed her on the cheek while telling her I'll be getting ready at ashley's place. "You looked good babe like an fashion icon". Thanks ash you look nice also i love the shoes. "Thanks babe, so do you have any idea what you plan on buying". I don't know pants and tee i guess. "You can't be serious are you", What's wrong with that? Every thing you got to look hot babe Pull up at the mall we make our way over to some stores after 2 hours of countless walk my belly begun to rumble. Ashley I'm starving can we get something to eat before i past out. "Wait before we grabbed a bite to eat let's check out forever 21". With a groan of hungry I followed behind her. Rampaging through the stalls I decided on a dress because Ashley insist on it not too fancy but the right taste for me. After she also decided on a dress we cash out. Making our way over to a small diner, I ordered a chocolate milkshake, waffles and eggs while Ashley ordered strawberry milkshake, pancakes and toast. After ashley paid our bill even tho I insist I pay half she decline saying it's on me. After leaving the mall we went over to her place to get dressed, arriving at her 4 story house i forget how beautiful it is, making our way up to her i was met with her parents Mary an tom alongside with hayden and aiden. After greeting them we make our way up to her room to get dressed. Her room was beautiful to say. After we changed and ash did mine and hers make up we got dress, she looked so beautiful in her green dress like a celebrity. After taking a few pictures we make our way down the stairs. "You guys look beautiful tonight, I'm going to cry", Mary coo. "Mom please don't start dad do something", ashley whined, I'm leaving guys I'll see you later. After bidding our goodbyes we were off. Pulling up at the party we saw people making out on the lawn, some passed out while orders puking their guts out. Pushing the door we make our way inside, where the music blast while people grinding on each other. "Lets go to the kitchen to get something to drink", nodding at her we make our way to the kitchen where we say jayden making out with some girl, hayden have a girl grinding on him, Aiden in the corner making out with a boy and kayden and Kimberly eating each other face, as if he sense that someone was looking at him he looked up on our eye's meet. Breaking eye contact, we grabbed our drinks an headed out, "babe I'm going to dance with that red head she's been eyeing me ever since i got here, you good by your self?", I'm a big girl i can take care of my self now go enjoy your self, with that said she walked over to the dance floor. Sipping on my drinks in the corner some one approached me and to my surprise it was kayden. Dressed in jeans, white t shirt, sweater and gray shoes. He looked nice. "So zoey it is right? Your the diner girl, you look nice so are you enjoying your self?", I'd rather not be here i said bluntly. "So what are you doing here?", my bestfriend begged me to come so here i am. "Well since your already here so why not have a little fun, do you want to dance?", With who you? "Chuckling, you make, dancing with me sound like a bad thing?", shugging while i take a sip of my drink. "You sure you don't want to dance, any girl would kill to be in your position right now and i saw you staring at me earlier". For starters I'm not any girl, I'm me and second of all it's a free county. "Feisty, i like feisty". Well i don't do arrogant jerks so you can go back an please enjoy your party.
