Greg wasn't in love with Cassie right off the bat, in fact, they weren't even living in the same city at the beginning, Greg completed high school in Melbourne and later moved to Texas for college, although he was born in Texas and spent some time there in his early childhood, it still felt really strange or rather different coming back after twelve years, Cassie on the other hand had lived there her whole life, went through different stages of life, finished high school, and had just gained entry into one of their tertiary institutions, Texas has been the only world she has been familiar with, she's been there her whole life although that isn't her home town, Cassie was originally from greenwood but due to migration her parents moved here before she was born, she caught wind of culture and soon behaved exactly like a Texan, Cassie was quite fair in complexion, with dark brown eyes, those that would make you lost in them willingly, and her black hair weaved with wine colored hair attachment, she looked so innocent and pretty, although not as innocent as one would think, we all have shadows, when Greg first relocated to Texas for college his parents suggested they looked for a church to worship, they initially attended a parish on their street but felt quite odd worshipping there for some reason, perhaps it was fate drawing Greg's family to another church so Cassie and Greg could meet each other, sometimes fate alone isn't enough, Greg's family decided to look for another parish related to the one they went to earlier, it was a district church so the parishes were related, by the end of the week, Greg's father Daniel, had decided they would go to the Church on the next street, which happened to be the church Cassie and her family attended, when Greg and his family with the exception of Fred, because at that time Fred was chasing a degree and wasn't doing that in the same state his family resided, Fred had always been away, and it became treated as normal, the same thing can be said of Daniel but he happened to be around during the first month of relocation. Greg felt quite uncomfortable, it's probably cause of the new environment he said to him self; he was eighteen at the time an was older than Cassie with three years, Greg and his family were welcome to church with smiles, even more when they found out that his parents were ministers, this was because the parish was still a growing one, other than that the people were genuinely lovely! They were at once enjoined to worship there permanently except when transferred, after the service Greg noticed Cassie sitting outside the church on a half wall almost in front of the church door, Greg, still waiting for his parents to finish whatever discussion they had going on with the pastor, he was caught up in two minds, Cassie's beauty was striking, be suddenly felt impatient waiting for his parents, he felt as though the world would end if he didn't speak to this damsel, a spirit of unrest was suddenly upon him, on second thought, this was his first time at the parish, he didn't want to seem eager to get to know anyone or look like a flirt, her parents probably attended the same church and perhaps they might be around, Greg thought to himself; this is a church, there are so many protocols to be held on to , Greg said; he tried to look in her direction to see if he could form a connection with the eyes, instead Cassie was focused on her device, perhaps she was on a game he though; meanwhile, Cassie on the other hand caught a glimpse of Greg, his narrow dark eyes, as though he could see through your soul, , thick textured black curly hair and dark skiin, he was both pretty and handsome, hhuu, she gasped; he was well above her height he looked like all her secret fantasies, she just couldn't believe she thought of that at the sight of him, she now felt slightly embarrassed, mixed with the feeling of shyness, she couldn't muster courage to steal another glimpse.
