Ronald started to feel bad. He quickly took the pulp out of his pocket.
"Thankfully, my guess was wrong." He was relieved to find out that it wasn't the map paper that was destroyed, but Johnson's one million dollar check.
Ronald let out a long breath. Seeing the check destroyed, he thought, "Let this paper be destroyed, it's okay. There's still something else."
After that, Ronald immediately looked for the map in his wallet. "Oh, it's here."
Audrey was waiting for his reply, so she repeated the question again. "Ronald, is the map paper still there?" She felt suspicious seeing Ronald's panicked face.
