Days moved so quickly and we were finally going to do our end year exams. I was super excited to go home and also get done with the exams which were due in a day's time. Ruby was super tensed about exams, she always referred to it as bugaboo and well it was a disease amongst all other students. Personally I didn't fear anything about exams so long as I was well armed and prepared nothing scared me.
But before I could get over Ethan I first decided to talk to Stacy and get the truth from her and guess what she told me?
That their relationship with Ethan was platonic?
That didn't make any sense to me and in as much as I wanted to believe her and conclude that her explanation was plausible something told me she was lying to me and I was low key sure maybe she just didn't want to find out anything but why would she hide that? I mean she was the school slut who dated almost every guy she met, she f****d around in most of the school occasions and when she went out during outings, what would her back from messing around with Ethan? We all knew she was a boyfriend snatcher and despite who wouldn't fall for Ethan? He was such a cute charming prince whom any girl could die to be with.
"By the way Bree let me be candid with you" Ruby told me that Sunday evening as we were strolling around the school heading towards our class. I had told her about my meeting with Stacy
"Uuhm mmh okay" I said
"Ethan is a d**k ask me why?" She said
"Why?"I asked trying to understand what she was trying to tell me
"Exactly why? That's the question, from what I know Ethan doesn't deserve you at all, you are smart, pretty and brave, you deserve someone who can make you grow and trust in you, not some random guy who's only after that thing between your legs, if he was a man enough he could've waited, I mean why the hurry, you both in school and it's so obvious that thing ain't going anywhere why would he leave you because of that small issue, the guy never loved you at all and you know what I think?"
"What?" I asked
"They were dating with Stacy from long ago, he just wanted an excuse to leave you and trust me I thank God he left you unscathed,it was a lousy idea falling for him" she said and I nodded in agreement.
"You are right, I'm just happy this is over and we almost going home, my folks said there's some family gathering at my grandma's, I just can't wait to meet my cousins" I said smiling. It had been long since I met my cousins and my grandma
"Ooh and by the way the December holiday, are we gonna plan about it or what? My cousins are coming over, been ages since I saw them especially Bruce" she said as we settled on one of the benches just in the field
"Ooh who is Bruce?" I asked interestingly
"Ooh girl I can see you, he is my elder cousin, he's such a cute by the way,you should see him maybe you two can click who knows?" She said as winked her eyes mischievously
"Ooh shut up Ruby I'm not into dating any soon I just want to be single at least for now" I said smiling
"I know you Bree but wait until you meet him, he's something else, more than Ethan"
"Whatever Ruby, just shut up"
"Not like I'm planning to do so, you know that, but just so you know at least I got you here"
"Whatever can we go to class then, remember about the maths revision paper we were to go through before the paper?"
"Of course I do, what about it?"
"We are having our first paper tomorrow morning so this is actually the best time for the revision, and now that I'm free I can take you through that, we don't someone being the flunkey or do you? " I asked ceasing my brows questioningly
"Of course no, who wants to fail anyways? Let's get going before you change your mind and dupe on me" she said as we stood up to go to the library for the discussion
"I can't do that, and we all know it"I said as I followed her back to class to pick our books.
We picked our books, calculators, the revision papers, and head over to library.
We spent almost two hours in the library before the bell rang signaling the end of games time,it was around 6:30pm in the evening.
We packed our books and head towards our classroom which was at the furthest end of the block. It was during dinner time. I know you are wondering why take dinner at that time,well in most of the high-schools dinner was taken around that time so preps time could be created and since our school was Private, the preps time was optional, some chose never to attend but since we had exams I saw almost everyone already in class by five in the morning for morning preps.
Being on a Sunday, we had a special meal of spaghetti squash soup and grilled chicken, my favorite. We ran towards the dinning hall where food was already served, Ruby and I shared the same table. We picked our forks and joined the rest.
We were just eating and chatting happily like the rest of the girls when, Someone passed by and accidentally poured her food on my hair. That got me so mad, I loved my hair and anyone who messed it up had crossed my line, I stood up and faced the girl only to find Stacy smiling wickedly, she faked a sorry and started walking away while swaying her hips. That got me so mad but Ruby tapped me and signalled me to keep calm, I was burning with her and it was so infuriating.
"Oh I'm sorry Brianna, it was an accident"
"Sorry you say!" Ruby said and sneered at her,I was busy trying to wipe the food from my hair.
"But you know what b***h?!you should write that sorry on a piece of paper and shove it in your ass, you're a boyfriend snatcher and a slut but 2ait today I'll teach you how to respect other people's relationship and space" Ruby said menacingly and walked towards her, she still held the empty plate in her hands.
Ruby reached to where she was and stood tiptoe making sure her lips was close to her ears.
"You know why I'm doing this? It's because you're a b***h who deserves to be taught a lesson and I'm glad to offer you a free lesson" she whispered in her ears and Stacy retreated her steps backwards while Ruby walked towards her daringly, the whole dining hall was at a standstill some shouting b***h, some shouting to Ruby to beat the hell out of the 'slut' and immediately Ruby's hot slap landed on her cheeks. Stacy started shouting and asking Ruby to let her go but Ruby heard none of it, she was big bodied and had overpowered her. She started raining blows and kicks on her while she threw her kicks aimlessly in the air
"Ruby stop that's enough" I said as I pulled her from Stacy who was now bleeding from her nose and her face scratched, her hair was messed and she looked like a mad woman
"You could have let me beat the hell out of her, she's such a shame to womanhood, such a desperate horny b***h" Ruby said and spat on her, she was angry.
Some girls were taking videos, although phones were not allowed in the academic section some still carried their phones to class.
"Delete that video immediately!" Ruby ordered and took the phone from the girl who was in the front line and deleted the video immediately
"And if I find the video leaked I'll hunt you down go back to where you were, the show is over" Ruby said and the girls scattered around tensed. The principal was Ruby's aunt and she could do anything she wanted, although she was not a prefer but she ordered girls around and something funny, she was respected.
"That was not necessary" I said to her after everyone had settled own and resumed eating
"You're welcome honey after all that b***h deserved it" she said and I smiled at her, she always got my back always and that's why I loved her, my heaven sent angel
