The first few days were a real roller-coaster. I had so much to learn and to think about that the Pack's matters were consuming my every thought. It turned out that the beautiful piece of land I've chosen for myself despite its obvious charm was a complete wilderness with not much to offer, which reflected onto Pack's finances.
Tim has been invaluable help. He told me about history and existing customs which my people lived by till now. It turned out that winter has always been hard for those people, often leading to the shortage of food and starvation making it hard to live. However, unfriendly conditions made them really taught warriors. At least to those who lived through the winter and were strong enough to hunt for themselves, waiting for warmer days to come.
