Chapter 14 Looks can be deceiving.

With surprise the three look at each other and Little Bruno asked what is that? As the three couldn’t take there eyes off the animal. A large animal with thick skin and large ear with a large tummy and huge feet with a little short tail. Big Bruno warning little Bruno to be careful there the somethings that not even big Bruno can protect him from. Little Bruno just shook his head as to say ok. Can I help asked the large animal asked? Well what are you little Bruno? I am an elephant and I need to find my family I lost them away back the sad elephant sad. Well come with us and til we find your family big Bruno said. Little Bruno asked what the elephants name was? Well my name is Char and I thank you all for helping me said Char. Little Bruno tell Char he was little Bruno and the large bear was big Bruno and the badger was Oscar. And no problem for they enjoyed the companionship. As the four of the kept walking they realized they were hungry the badger and elephant munched on berries of different types as the two bears found some fish in a near by stream. And Char was so large the other three stayed out side with him for the night. Sounds of large animals scared the small cub and he cuddled in close big Bruno which made the large bear smile. As sleep hit the group of strangers now friends guided in a direction of a common goal. What a crazy painful day little Bruno thought before falling to sleep. Looking around at the break of day as the sun shines high in the sky. I truly love moving together in a group I am not as afraid as much little Bruno thought.
Coming to a tree with a large hole at a stream under a beautiful shaded area. Oscar looked around and said this is it my new home and the other three looking around the area agreed it was the perfect home for Oscar. We helped him gather stuffing for his bed in the back side corner of the den in this tree stump. And moving a few limbs around so no one could just run up and attack Oscar. Char, Bruno big and Bruno Small said their good byes to Oscar and started on their way. Coming into a low valley there is a large hole with a stump in the middle of the hole. They walked to the middle of the hole to have this fox jump from the stump he was laughing at how he scared the three of them. Being mad Oscar grabbed that fox’s tail a slug him back in that stump and told him to not come out til they were gone. As big Bruno laughed saying he loved Oscars temper and the three of them laughed on there way.
The king the king the king of animals as little Bruno yelled seeing a large old lion. What is an elephant and two bears out together for on such a beautiful day the lid lion asked? Trying to help each other big Bruno said as little Bruno piped in and asked the lions name Theodore the lion told the young cub Well the lion said he didn’t have any plans could help the group on their way.
And the lion brought in his meat as little bear and big bear helped him eat some as Oscar found some nice hay to enjoy. And as the evening started to come to a close over in the other side of a pasture saw his family as the the three walked over to the middle of the pasture and bid Oscar good bye. And they saw a spacious cave to hang out in for awhile. And outside the cave there was figs and the three enjoyed the figs til there was nothing left to eat.
Over crossing a brook with nice comfortable feeling there was the beautiful sky that was changing colors. Over the mountain light was reflecting the background. How beautiful each moment was to see. Never wanted to move from that spot. Walking through the lights as they twinkled through the threes. There was apples high in a tree and Char lifted his trunk and got some apples and then retrieved some more. And til they were full and time to start back to traveling. One large bear and small cub and one lion and and elephant what a strange group to be traveling together but they were a force to be reckoned with and as they moved through another forest that little Bruno was a little afraid after the last forest but big Bruno told him this forest was safe except for some of Theodore’s kind but he could help them with that problem as they traveled through. There was a large roar that came from up ahead and there was terror as the sound multiplex from more of them. And then Theodore roared and all was silent as they approached the area the roses were coming from and then there was A line of lions waiting with anger in there eyes. And Theodore jump in front an roared at the pack of lions and til they were standing face to face as Char and big Bruno walked up next to Theodore. The older lion said that there was no passing til a toll has been paid. And Theodore asked what that told was to be? And the older lion said the toll was to be our blood and Theodore rammed the old lion rolling him to the ground and Char started beating two lions at a time and big bear pounced two as a time by his self. And the older lion said to pass but make it haste. And the four of them slowly passed through the pride as the lions bowed to the group passing before them. And coming out of the other side of the forest little Bruno saw blood on big Bruno’s paw. And he started to panic As he looked at the big bear paw. Are you ok little Bruno asked and big Bruno said he was fine he just had blood from one of those lions and they came to a stream and the four of them cleaned up and decided it was time to take a rest under a large old tree as they talked about what had just happened and across a open pasture to their surprise they couldn’t believe there eyes.
