"Daphie?"

My head flinched once I heard It. My mind is circled with various thoughts thanks to that irritating phone call. Every moments of the past came back, trying to remember what I should and shouldn't do now. But once I heard that forbidden name.

'Woah, were did you get that confidence of yours, Daphie?'

Ugh!!!! This is really pissing me off !!!!!!!!!

I don't want to remember it. Every hope and love, was an act all along.

He held his hand at my shoulder to interpret that he's by my side.

"Is there a problem?"

"Davin, I told you not to call me that!" I bawled as I gritted my teeth. My heart is squeezing bit by bit, I don't know why I can't control my emotions right now.

But the worst part is when you're angry, all those compressed emotion burst out as tears in a sudden.

I wiped it but I can't stop. I don't want him to see me like this. Not for the reason that I don't want to look pathetic, for I cannot tell the truth why I'm like this.

"Sorry I didn't mean to. Please let me know what happened. It really hurts here". He pleaded and placed my hand at his left chest, where his heart is located. "Seeing someone I swore to protect is at pain. Even if I must destroy a person, if it's for you then there's no reason I wouldn't."

Those comforting words. My eyes imitated the waterfalls that won't stop even if I want to. This overflowing feelings as every tear seeps I can't endure it. I'm just overwhelmed.

Please let this person be someone I'll be with until death. Yet, can a relationship be maintained if one person always kept secrets. I can't just tell him, even I can't believe at myself.

"I'm fine it's just that..... I saw something that reminded me of someone."

"It's not a guy right?"

"Of course not, well.... It's my sister"

"Is it okay if I may ask?" He questioned with hesitation, now that I felt more calm, I agreed after all. "Well you're already doing it but it depends, fire it up!"

"Why do you hate being called .... That?"

I almost sensed a huge rock of gloominess struck at my head, all those comfort shifted in a second. From what I understood, he's asking that nickname.

What should I tell. I can't just say that, oh because that robot b*stard used to call me that and I was killed and heard that from my last breath. But I turned back time yahooo so here I am.

I'll end up at the mental facility in no time.

"Well.... Back then someone told me that with malicious intent.... I prefer not to talk about it." I avoided eye contact and stared only at the floor. Please fall for that lie!!!!!

"I'm disappointed at myself that there's still things I don't know about you. However I won't force you, if you need a shoulder to cry on I'm always here. If you want ears to listen to you I'm always free. If you wish a heart that understands you, I'll be at your side. Lastly, if you need arms for a hug, I'm willing to do it even for every single minute." He declared while I smiled, stopping my nose from sniffing.

Then I whined loudly for controlling feelings to much just explodes as an outcome. "Why are you good at making my heart race!!! Wahhhhhhh!!!"

"Look dear, it seams like they quarreled"

I heard a woman, middle aged somehow that was only across the street. Is she referring to me?

"It's normal for lovers, at least the man looks sorry"

"I wonder why, don't tell me he cheated"

"Why is that the first problem a person come up to when a girl cries?"

"I'm just joking, come let's greet them"

"Eh?! Hey! Wait!!"

The couple went close by to us, a woman in her 30's, same as the man. Although they may have slight age differences, maybe 3 years. Still from their clothes, a simple dress and a polo shirt that are from high quality stores. They're from an upper class but in simplicity of appearance.

"It is discourteous of us to meddle with others fights but whatever both of you fought don't let it shatter your relationship." She then smiled and complemented "It's such a waste for a cute couple to break up".

The man barged in, "My wife is right, I'm not a person to interrupt someone's life. However we can't let lovers split, you two make a good chemistry."

Both of us glanced at each other with pupils pointing at their direction. As if our minds are used for communication, 'do you know them?'

Both if us shook slightly our heads for them not to notice, it would appear as disrespectful if that happens. After that we faced them and Davin initiated the conversation, luckily.

"There might be a misunderstanding, I'm just cheering her up but there's no fight happened." He explained while I nodded endlessly as an agreement.

"Oh?" Both of them gasped and took a glance at each other. From my perspective, they're so cute!!!!!!!!!!

"Sorry for that mistake, still this won't stop me from giving this" she remarked. She looked something from her purse and once she found it, she offered it to Davin. A small red box that I can't affirm although I'm also glad.

"You still kept that for all this years"

"It's you're fault that I didn't expect you're proposal for that 8 years ago. It would be a plot twist if I was the one who did that". She sulked while avoiding his husband's swarming eyes.

"So both of you bought a ring without each other knowing for a surprise" I assumed.

Both laughed bashfully. "Love does work in strange ways" the man replied while rubbing his back.

"So then...." We accidentally looked at each other's eyes with the same thought. Once two person is united, they're considered as one under the grace of God. In simple terms..... Marriage?!!!!!!!

We looked away at the opposite direction for the avoidance of possibility about thinking you know the thingy.

"I'll be gladly to accept such gift, in return we'll invite you to our wedding"

"Davin?!!!!!"

"What you don't wanna?"

"I want to!!!! But it's embarrassing!!!!!!! We're still young!!!!!"

"So?"

Give me a break, Its not that I'm unprepared, it's just that I can't stop thinking about that beatitude future of us. I'm gonna die in fluster!!!!!!!!!!

I punched him lightly multiple times at his shoulders to stop teasing even if my face are the same color of a tomato.

"Aww Makka-chan that hurts"

"Ekk?!!!!!!!" I was dumbstruck after seeing him make that act. He took off his glasses then wiped his tears with his finger. He faced me after it like a sulking puppy with huge glimmer of his eyes.

It's to bright!!!! My eyes!!!!!!!

Not long after, I heard a chuckle from behind, it's from the couple. I almost lost track that we're not the only ones here. This is so humiliating. I flared at Davin with eyes of blames that this is clearly his fault. Instead of a scowl he winked.

Too bright!!!!!! I can't stand it!!!!!!!!

" I missed our young days, well we already consumed some of your time. Farewell" The man waved and same as her wife with a smile full of content.

"Well done, you've found them. Now arrest them!" Someone shouted a meter away from us. At his command many black suited guys went at our direction with eyes charging at the target.... Or targets.

"Step aside ma'am if you wish for a long life" a guy warned.

They hand cuffed the couple and pushed down, forcing to kneel at the ground. They both looked at me with eyes of anguish and hate. What's happening?!!!!

I opened my lips to utter a word for them to stop, however a grip of a hand interrupted me. I saw how soft Davin's eyes and a slight smile indicating that we have no choice.

"You traitors!! Hey!!! Don't hurt my wife!!!!!" He shifted his eyes at her wife who is currently pushing away the arms of black suited guys. His gaze of flames went soft after seeing the state of her wife.

She was catching her breath, still the guys won't let her shoulders at ease for the possibility of standing up and make an escape.

I curled my fist where my palms were already wounded by my nails for that tightness. The emotion I felt before has triggered once again.

Davin held my hand and adviced with softened eyes. "Don't interfere, please"

"But-"

"Ah!" She screamed and I looked what in the world is happening. That pain is not normal, it's a torture. I saw her already at the ground with dust and dirt as her dress and cheeks.

It looks like they've pushed her, gruffly.

I pushed Davin's hand in an instant, I won't hold back anymore.

"The f*CK!!!" I stopped a guy who is about to punch her husband for disobeying their command to stand still. Due to that, one by one, guys started to attack me at various direction. A gun pointed at my eyes has no fear to be felt in me, maybe because I already faced it. I dashed at him and grabbed that hand of his and twisted him, throwing at a group of people ambushing for an attack.

"You sh*tty people!!!!" I retorted and grabbed a pole that they used to pushed her down. They must taste their own medicine. I swiped it with a forcefull blow and acceleration to ensure that they'll fly way. Although they didn't, with those bodies builded up for danger, they were only thrown for a meter.

Due to that, the key fell and I tossed them to the couple. There's no time for me to unlock it after seeing the guys that I recently rubbed at the floor stood up. "You're a bunch of *sswholes!!!!! Leave them alone!!" I howled once my eye caught them sneaking out to follow them and continue the arrest.

Because they're a fast runner, I threw the metallic pole that hit a bullseye from their back. Since it's long, not only one person was hit rock-bottom, so are the five people.

"Stop her Davin" he ordered and I'm not mistaken from that devil voice. None other than the boss of Griffinhood. I'm going to face him straightly, I'm not as weak as he thinks.

"I'm very sorry Aelius" I hissed and smirked, just for him to confirm that there are apologies that aren't sincere.

He lowered his brows, I'm sure he's thinking that 'how on earth did she knew that'. Even if he wore a black mask under only his eyes, I knew you from the past.

I really am in trouble. I promised not to confront, talk or be badass in front of him. Well, too late, once my temper reached its peak, there's no backing down.

Yet, all of those gathered confidence, my neck was shattered in an instant. Someone must have hit my back without knowing using a sideward hand attack.

"I'm sorry Makka-chan"
