Adam saw Sebastian perched on the wall of the fountain across the street almost as soon as he stepped out onto the sidewalk. He was dressed from head to toe in black, his platinum blond head leaning over the newspaper spread across his lap. Up close, in the sunlight, Adam could make out the dark roots that were just starting to show. It was the same as in his dreams. Though in them, the roots were more prominent, like they’d been the night he and Charlie had tracked Sebastian down at Flashers. “Want a cookie?” Adam offered it to him, holding it out with a napkin, and Sebastian looked up. “Ginger.
