Chapter 7Cory Work was busy as it always was on a Monday. Delivery after delivery rolled in to replenish the stock that had been depleted by the hobby farmers and gardeners over the weekend. Also, a cold front had been predicted and a lot of the regulars came in to refill their propane tanks, replace worn tarps, and just overall prepare for it. Still, Cory’s mind drifted back to the woman she’d left at the house this morning. And what a weird morning it had been, too. The woman had clearly wanted some coffee.
