Chapter 6Evelyn Er-er-er-er-oo! Evelyn pulled the pillow over her head at the insistent sound from a rooster outside her window. It took her a minute to sort out where she was before the events of the previous two days came flooding back in and she groaned. There were still no other memories since the revelation of her name, and possibly her age. The smell of coffee wafted under her closed door and she sat up, stretching. Cory had kindly given her another oversized shirt of his to sleep in. She smiled, recalling their conversation of last night. It was nothing all that noteworthy, other than she was surprised at how easily they bantered for two relative strangers.
