Chapter 25Cory Having spent most of the night tossing and turning and mentally replaying the calendar disaster, Cory finally gave up trying to sleep and went in to work early. Cradling her coffee mug with one hand, she unlocked the back door with the other and went straight to her office. William and Loretta Brubaker. Evelyn Brubaker. No matter how she combined the names—or not—her Google search yielded nothing. She tried the address of the house next. But the property tax records only showed the law firm.
