Scarletts POV

I sighed and opened the door and she walked in. “ I’m so sorry to bother you but I just need someone to talk to and” she all but stopped and turned to me and gave me the most mean face and looked at him “ so it was her that caught your attention, that’s why you were asking so many questions about Scarlett and you called the wedding off. What is it that she has that I don’t or is it that you can’t stay with one women and prefer to just switch whenever you get bored of them” he looked at her like he was hurt by what she said.He stood up and said “ No it’s not what you think” he was cut off by her turning around and saying “ and you, I was talking to you when you called me to see if I was ok and I told you he left me and what was your response  Oh honey dont think like that you are gorgeous and smart, any man would be lucky to have you, its his lost and you should never let anyone  bring you down, its no fun!” She all but shouted at me and as strong as I was trying to be it didn’t make me feel any better cause I just felt my tears pouring out and when I was going to say anything Gabriel steps in “ Do Not yell at her I came here hoping to talk to her and the reason why I left you was made very clear when you all but insulted Scarlett and she wasn’t there to defend herself. Yes I’m interested in Scarlett I won’t lie but she has never made a pass at me she actually wanted to know why I left you like actually concerned about you” he shook his head and sat down where he last was. I was so mad at the words that came out of his mouth and it was my turn to talk. “When I called you this afternoon was because I was actually concerned for you after you called me the first time while crying your eyes out on the phone but you told me we could talk later because I had my kids but you were talking behind my back and then expect my sympathy uggh I can’t understand people sometimes, Get out of my house and don’t come back I’m to nice for this bullshit” I was so mad I didn’t think it through until she said “ You work for me b***h don’t forget that” and I all but tensed and and gave her the hardest look and said “ if your going to hold my job against me for doing nothing wrong then I don’t wanna work for you” putting emphasis on work for you. She glared at me turned and laughed “ we will see if you can support your kids with only one measly paycheck b***h” while walking away from the house.

 I locked the door and i totally forgot he was here still so i slid down the door and bursted out in tears. He was in front of me and crouched down so fast i heard myself gasp “Sorry” was all he said as he picked me up bridal style and walked to the couch with me. I was going to move out of his hold and he said “please just stay here in my lap for just a while longer to control myself please” so i just did what he wanted and as if my body knew i was on top of him i became wet almost instantly. 

I heard him chuckle and put his face in the crook of my neck where my shoulder and neck meets and said “ if this wasnt the wrong time i would have had you on all fours screaming my name.”  I couldnt talk but this would be where someone out of the blue says cat got your tongue. I automatically tensed and he asked “Did i say something wrong” and i cleared my throat and said “ Umm how do you know..” i let the word float and he said “ i have heightened senses and i could smell your arousal. While his voice became deeper and his eyes got darker  i became a little freightened and as if he knew what was happening he pulled me closer “ babe im sorry you smell so damn good i can barely keep my wolf at  bay. He wants you just as much as i do” and i know i was looking stupid because he all laughed at me “ what d-do you mean w-wolf” i said. He looked at me and said “I will continue so you can better understand what im saying” and i nodded as to tell him ok.

“As i was saying before we interrupted, my family are descendants from werewolves and we come from the first werewolves the moon goddess created. My great grandfather was the first king and he kept the throne for over a century and my grandfather after kept it for over a century and a half and my father has kept it for a little under a century.” He looked at me to see if i was following and i nodded and he kept on “ i saw your face and yes we live longer than humans babe. I dont know how your keeping it together cause i hear your heartbeat thumping so fast.” Im not afraid per say of the whole longer than human life but that means im going to die before you”. I looked down and one question all but stood out, why is he telling me and if hes telling me what do i mean to him?”  i was going to ask but he beat me to it and said “ Babe your my mate yes my human mate but it doesnt mean that i wont care or protect you any less!” “Huh” was all i could muster up and picking up on my clueless face he said “ soul mate your my soul mate baby girl and if you would give me a chance i will prove it to you and i will always make you happy and i will protect you and those kids in there like they are mine! Please say you’ll give me a chance?” I swallowed hard and said “ How do you know im your soulmate maybe your mistaken and your just fond of me how can little ol’ me be mated to someone as handsome and strong and wealthy like you?” i mumbled but he heard me and came closer to me and wrapped his arm around my waist and said “ Dont belittle yourself while you see that, I see an amazing women with strength and the most caring person. I see a beautiful woman with all the right curves to please me with, i see a mother that gives her all to keep her kids happy and in turn makes you the happiest woman. I have seen the way you look at maddy and jake when they are laughing or having fun and just that brings so much joy to your life, i wish i can have my own pup one day” he said. 

He grabbed my hand and said “ What do you say are you ready to leave this life behind and start a new one with me?” I look him in the eye and say “One question before i give my answer” he nods and says “anything babe”. “Did Ariel know about you and why did you leave her?” He sighs and looks at me as if saying really but doesnt say anything. He puts his hands through his hair and looks at me in the face and says “ Why not leave her i was just with her to complete my duty and have a queen , yes i wouldve been miserable but i have been waiting for you for so long baby girl i never thought i would find you. I will never see you the way i saw her because i wasnt living while i was with her until i saw you at wendys that day. I love you Scarlett and i know your my soulmate because when our eyes meet everything stops, when im near you i feel aroused” i cut him off and said “Oh my god thats why…” he laughed and said “Yes babe thats why you cant help getting so wet while your near me and yes i smelled your scent when the kids brought me to your room” he licked his lips and came closer to me so that our faces were so close. 

He brushed his lips against mine and gave me such a gentle kiss on my lips that i looked at him with so much passion i couldnt help but kiss him again with so much want. He brought me over him and placed one leg on each side so i was straddling him. He deepened the kiss and i moaned into his mouth and i broke the kiss. He smirked and said “ Babe its okk to feel the passion take over your body your with your soulmate”. I got off of him and went to the kitchen while he was following “ Dont be mad please im sorry i took it to far it wont happen again” and i turned around so fast saying “ what do you mean it wont happen again and i wasnt mad i just need some water my throat is dry?” 

He walked up to me and put me on the counter top “So you wanna kiss me huh” he said smirking and i just blushed and put my face in his chest. “I still need water please put me down” i said so he grabbed me while holding my ass and handed me a bottled water that was in the fridge. I wanted him so bad, i knew he could smell my arousal and it didnt bother me either. I was so in for a ride and i wouldnt hold back tonight.
