Chapter 14

Gabriel’s POV

She was taken I couldn’t stop them so here I am at the window that they escaped with her from and I’m lost as to who had the balls to come into my home.Lucian growled in my head and said “I will rip them to pieces when I catch them” I agreed. I mindlinked with my beta and my dad “Someone took her and I want her back. I will kill the traitor and I believe I know who it is. He’s gonna regret this” I cut the link as they were entering and they ran up to me and looked around and said “oh my god who do you think it was and where are the kids.” Up until now I completely forgot about jake and maddy because of the anger rolling off me and I called for them “ Jake, Maddy please where are you it’s Gabe I need to know your Okk and I was cut off when little arms wrapped around both my legs and I grabbed both of them in my hands and said “ oh thank god you two angels are Okk I was so scared and we will get mommy back Okk” I said as I stared into their eyes and saw that their cheeks had tears stains on them. They nodded and said “ Can we go to our rooms please” and I gave a firm nod and it broke my heart seeing my babies like this they were just so excited to go shopping and now they are closing them selves off. I have to find her so I turned around and looked at Frankie with a straight face showing no emotion and half yelled saying “bring the alpha Devon to me and I mean now.” I was pacing back and forth and I couldn’t keep still I knew something was wrong I felt her anxiety, how could she have known something was going to happen and she didn’t want to worry me I should have protected her. I know I was beating myself up I kept hitting my forehead and slamming punches into the walls but I need to know if he was the one. I finally was mind linked by Frankie “ Hey alpha I don’t think your going to like this but all the troops you sent him are tied up and he is responsible I’m hiding out and collecting….” “I’ll be there” I said cutting him off and proceeded to go and mind linked my father to keep jake and maddy safe until I was back. 

       I followed frankies scent and reached this so called pack house and went over to Frankie and whispered “ What’s the news because the way I’m feeling I’m going to rip him apart now” he immediately spoke up, “ he has them tied saying they were his plan to get close to you and since they won’t live long enough it’s pointless to hide the news of killing your mate” he said as he looked down and I felt like collapsing and rage filled me as I started to walk out into the open and Frankie grabbed my hand but I shook him off and continued on and when I came into view “Oh my my royal prince, you should have stayed home!” I gave a sneer and since no one dared to dis obey for the time being I said “ This is how you treat the men I gave to fight for you? Tell me why I shouldn’t kill you?” I grabbed the big rope and immediately I let go. It was a rope dipped in silver but since I was immune it didn’t bother me but I can feel the uncomfortable feeling it gives off and he took it as it will harm me and got insanely confident and said “ Oh prince I wished you didn’t do that why bother with a handful of men when you have a castle full of them”. Lucian growled and said “ He knows where mate is go along” I raised an eyebrow and said “ A king always cares no matter if it just one life we care about that life because we put them in that predicament.” I looked to Alpha Devon and held my knife out and cut the rope but I mind linked the one in front of me and said stay grabbing onto it until I say otherwise but I gave him a napkin so he wouldn’t get hurt more than he was already and kept walking in a circle until I came in front of him and he said all confident and cocky “ Why don’t you go with your mate oh right she’s been taken” I couldn’t hold Lucian back and I grabbed him by the neck and got real close to his ear “ it’s funny you say that because I didn’t know for sure you were the culprit until now and I’m going to make an example out of you” and I slammed his whole body on the floor with my hand still around his neck and he saw the anger and I could see the fear in his eyes. “ You see the reason why I came here was to see if my mate was being held here but since she isn’t I’ll kill you for betraying the crown and I’ll keep looking” he started to stutter and said “ N-no pl-pl-please I’ll g-give y-you any th-thing sir” but I laughed and said “Where is my mate?” I roared in his face and he said “prince I’m not sure” and so I looked at him and said “ Well then it turns out I have no use for you anyway and I decapitated his head and all his followers started to run up to me and say thank you . I was so confused as to why and a little girl brought me a flower and said “ he was so mean to us, you saved us” I felt too bad and I bent down on one knee and said “your welcome sweetheart hopefully you can be happy now” and she smiled and ran. I took that as an opportunity to ask if they knew about him taking my mate and they all said no the only person he would trust was the beta and he wasn’t here. So I nodded and thought Ok I need to find this beta he most likely has my mate and I’ll kill him as well. I called for frankie loudly and he came “Hey whats up?” i looked at him and said “We need to find their beta he might have Scarlett or he knows where she is!” and he nodded and said “ We will take care of it Alpha, we just need to know what do you want? Take him out or bring him to you?” i smiled and i said “Bring him to me ill deal with him” and i turned around and left. I had no choice but to  go home and deal with my two kids that are frightened and probably mad at me and Lucian growled in my head “No Dumb f**k they want our mate and so do i and we need to get her back Now gabriel we are going to become insane” i cut him off “We will get her and we are not going to go insane” and i cut the link we had. I just needed them to see i cared about their mom and i love her and that i will do everything in my power to find and bring her back safe.

I get to the Palace and when i enter the dining room they were there, they look at me and come running and ask for Scarlett and i dont know how to answer them. I crouch in front of them and say one thing thats hard for anyone to hear, “Hey buddies i havent gotten mommy yet but we are working on it. I know you miss her and are probably scared for her and so am I but we will get her babies Okk” and I ruffled jakes hair. He just looked at me with tears in his eyes and nodded and he grabbed maddys arm and said “come on maddy let’s go to our room we can wait there” she didn’t say anything and kept on moving with him and it broke my heart. I think I will never forgive myself if anything happened to Scarlett. As soon as I spoke the words Lucian growled and said “ if you doubt us then we already lost, have faith Gabriel we will get mate back” I just nodded. I went to check on the progress Frankie has made. I got to my dads office and they had a layout of our kingdom and i just said two words “Whats New?” and frankie bowed instantly and said “Prince we are working on it we are on our way out we think she is being held in no other than his late mothers old pack saying she is a traitor to his pack since he is loved there they didnt question him!” i immediately said “Ok im coming with you and im going to rip his betas head off personally.” “We are going to rip his head off he touched mate and i dont like other guys on mate gabe” i internally scoffed and said “yea you and me both lucian!”
