Chapter 10

 Gabriels POV

I was working normally when i felt lost and that nothing had any meaning and i realized that it wasnt my anxiety it was Scarletts and i called her almost immediately. She never answered and i immediately started freaking out. Lucian said “ Find our Mate she needs us and the last place she said she was going to go was to her kids school” I rushed out of my office and Mya came to me as she saw my face and asked “ Is everything ok” I looked at her and said “ if you need me call me i have to take care of something important.” She just nodded and i took off. I got in my truck and sped to the school and i saw so many cops i just got out and never turned my car off and asked the police if everything and everyone was ok and he looked at me sternly and said “ No sir two kids were taken by their father that hasnt been in their life for over a year and she is in  quite of alot of pain and is also in grief probably assuming the worst! As he was pointing to the school. I just walked int the school building and followed her scent that brought me to the office and she was stuck in limbo just staring at nothing in particularly. I hugged her and said “Im so sorry we will find them i promise Scarlett!!” and made sure to talk in a hush tone by her ear and also said “ I have our best trackers looking for Maddy and Jake i promise we will find them soon!” She broke down in my hands and she did nothing but sobb and i didnt know what to say so i just held her and let her get it all out! I mind linked my beta and was completely devastated and said “ I need our best trackers to go to your lunas house and pick up the scent of both our babies and start to look for them”  Frankie mind links them back and said okk alpha but can i talk freely?” I said “of course” He mind links me back and confusion is laced in his voice when he says “ SInce you claim them as your kids will you turn them so they can age like us?”  “i honestly havent given that much thought and it was something to talk to Scarlett about it when the kids are safe so please do the job at hand and report back to me when you find something”. I just heard him say ok before he cut the mind link. When i came back to she was staring at me and said “ please dont be mad at me for saying that i just cant go on a date when my kids arent safe in my hands” I looked at her and grabbed her face in my hands and turned so she can look at me “ Baby i will never be mad over that i was just quiet for another reason which i will tell you when we get to your house and im staying with you tonight and im not taking no” she nodded and i grabbed her hand and led her to the car and right when i was going to close the door frankie was trying to get through to me so i closed the door and got in and told Scarlett not be afraid i was going to go blank and i would explain it all to her and she just nodded. I opened the mind link “ Hey frankie whats the news?” he said i dont think your going to like it but the kids father isnt working alone and Ariel is with him. Apparently she didnt know she contracted the father of the kids and they are arguing over the fact what she has against their mom.”  “Thats it where are the kids and are they safe?”  Hey Alpha the kids are safe but we cant intervene this is human territory to deal with” I all but lost it and said “they messed with my family it makes it our deal they took our prince and princess so deal with it” i commanded in my alpha tone and cut the link. I was so mad I could tear Ariel apart and their own father what the hell is wrong with him how could he put his kids through that and Lucian said “ they aren’t his kids he gave up on them we are their father now. We must show them we are there for them and their mommy.” “ I completely agree Lucian” I started to drive to Scarletts house and I smelled my pack that were there and left moments ago and caught a whiff of a new smell. I told Scarlett “Wait in the car and don’t open the car no matter what or who you see do you understand I’ll tell you later.” She was so out of it that she just nodded. I looked around the house and saw a man trying to get in the house and I yelled “ What are you doing here” he looked so scared and said “ who are you and why are you here are you with Scarlett?” I played it cool “ No actually I’m patrolling the area to find some kids that went missing from school and this so happens to be the house so again I’m going to ask you what are you doing here?” And he tensed and I heard his heart beating so fast and when he answered I knew it was him, the kids father “ I was looking to see if Scarlett was here her friend sent me and I’m sorry for being a peeping Tom.” “What’s your name sir?” I said and he looked around as if to run so I beat him to it I grabbed him by the neck and said “ Where are Jake and Massey and if you lie I will rip your throat out!” He peed on himself and said “Ariel has them I’m sorry she wants Scarlett so she won’t harm my kids!” I let go of his neck and grabbed his arm and scoffed. “ How can you do that to your own kids? I would have beat the living s**t out of her when she mentioned to grab your own kids but let me guess you want to see Scarlett so far gone that it didn’t even occur to you your kids might get hurt!” He put his head down and as we were reaching the car Scarlett  came out and grabbed him by the shirt collar and said “ John if your here where are our kids?” He looked at her and said with so much sorrow in his eyes “ Ariel wants to cause you pain for taking away her fiancé so she paid me 1,500.00 to keep the kids from you but she has gone to far!” Scarlett looked so determined to get jake and maddy back she said “point the way I’m going to rip her to shreds once and for all nobody messes with my babies”. I was filled with so much pride at her attitude that it reminded me of how a Luna is supposed to act and I smiled. I sat in the back with the John and took advantage to mind link Frankie and asked for an update. He replied “ I have eyes on the kids it’s an abandoned warehouse Ike’s from Scarlett house. The warehouse we held the traitor in last year!” I smiled and cut the link I looked at Scarlett and said “stop the car let’s get out we are seconds from them.” John looked at me stunned and I smiled “ I’m far more powerful than you think John and after this I don’t want you anywhere near the kids nor Scarlett do you understand?” He nodded and climbed out the car and we walked and that’s when we saw the others in human form and thank god they were dressed. They looked at me and they looked at John and they glared at him and said “ how can you be so cruel and to your kids none the less” he didn’t have word so he stayed shut and they snarled and proceeded to the kids while Ariel was inside. The kids saw Scarlett and ran to her screaming “mommy” and that’s when Ariel said “Don’t go to mommy or she dies” but it was far to late since they were in her arms safe and sound. Scarlett was so mad she asked that they take her kids so that they were safe away from here and what would happen. They agreed and before they took Maddy and Jake Scarlett gave them a smile and said “ Behave with them and im so happy that your ok” and gave them both a kiss on the forehead. When the coast was clear of the kids she looked at Ariel and started walking towards her. “What did i do to deserve this i was nothing but nice to you!”Scarlett said. Ariel responded “So you call coming between me and my fiance and ruin everything we had nice, You let me pour my heart out to you and you even gave me advice how dont you see thar was wrong?”  Scarlett sighed and said “i had no idea what was going to happen or how important he was going to become in my life. I was deeply concerned when you told me what happened but you cant fault me for what is happening because you caused that with your ugly personality, who takes kids just to hurt the parent. Answer me this how did you know John was their father?” She laughed and said “ Actually i didnt know you see i had hired him to kill…” and Scarlett lost it threw a punch at Ariel and it connected with her face. I could feel the anger rolling off her in waves. “What type of person are you exactly i wish you die the same exact way you planned it for my kids and your lucky nothing happened to them because i would have killed all your family just from the rage.” Ariel laughed and said “so you would have cut my throat and left me in the front door of my moms house be cause thats what i was planning on doing you stupid b***h and i hope he uses you the same way!” I was so mad just from seeing how she was insane and what she had planned to do to my babies that i ran and was in front of her in less than a sec and she screamed and i said “ You wanna know how different our relationship will be and how you meant nothing to me?” Ariel all but laughed and said “im positive your just saying that because you want me to be angry”. I grabbed her by her neck and let me eyes change in color and let my canines elongate and i saw the pure fear that emanated from her. “ H-How is t-that possible? W-Wh-What are you?” I smirked as i went to scarletts side and said “she is my soulmate and she will live as long as i do if she shall accept it but you thought you knew me without knowing my true nature and she accepted my true nature while you cower under me she stands by my side strong and all to graceful like the rightful Queen she is” I began to walk away with scarlett and i mindlinked every werewolf that stood there to punish her “ Have your way with her and send her back to her parents the way she was going to do to my babies!” They all said in unison “ Yes Alpha” and cut the link.  I walked to the car with both Scarlett and John and went to where the kids were.
