The latest magazine article had pictures of Alexis walking into a bridal store with Lincoln's mother, which confirmed the rumours that her and Lincoln were indeed engaged. It broke my heart. My attention was concentrated fully on Jasmine from then on. I avoided Alexis like the plague, I couldn't let her see how much she had broken me.
It was Friday and I was packing for the weekend, Jasmine and her family will be picking me up in about an hour. I was dreading it really, but I had agreed and felt like I couldn't go back on my word. Having a weekend alone with Jasmine and her parents is probably my worst nightmare. Her mum was nice enough, but is a real romantic, constantly talking about how I would propose and how she always wanted Jasmine to have a wedding fit for a princess. H
