Trigger warning - Physical abuse and kidnapping
I’ve been in this cave in these ruins for days now. I don’t know exactly how long. I honestly don’t even know where I am. It was night time when I was put here by that rogue wolf. He bound my feet with chains and only comes once a day to throw food and water at me. I was taken while I was out for a walk in the Northern region of the Blood Moon pack. I should have been able to shift, but my wolf hasn’t come forward yet even though I just turned 18. My parents said to just give some time. Maybe I shouldn’t have been out there alone, but I’m not exactly a social butterfly. This rogue caught me by surprise. He leapt from a tree where he was hiding and I never even saw him coming. He was a scruffy looking man with red eyes. That’s the last thing I saw before this darkness. Are my parents looking for me? Will Alpha Ronan send warriors to look for me? No, probably not. I’m barely seen at the pack house and I usually kept to myself. I could hear him coming back. As he came closer I could smell the stench of him. He smelled of a wet dog. It must be raining outside. He threw a bottle of water and a sandwich at my feet. I tried to reach for it and he kicked it further away. Struggling to get to my knees, I fell face forward. Ouch, that was painful. I reached again and was barely able to grab it with my fingertips. The rogue laughed and said, “Pathetic, little girl.” He then proceeded to slap my hand, knocking the sandwich to the ground. He turned and walked away still chuckling to himself. I picked the sandwich back up and ate. At least he was feeding me. I was thankful for that. I started to think about the things I wanted to do if I got out of here. I wanted to see my parents first of all. I really missed them. I wanted to travel. See what else might be out there for me. Find my mate. Finding my mate would be like finding gold at the end of a rainbow. I wondered what my mate would look like. Most of all I wondered what he would smell like. Werewolves are fated to be with their one and true mate. Their bond is like no other. Would I even have a mate? How would I tell them about being trapped here in this cave? I don’t think that I could. I am so sore from being shackled to this floor. I rubbed my ankles where the chains were attached. Why did the rogue choose me? I wasn’t special. I laid down on the cold, damp floor and tried to sleep. No reason to be awake.
Alpha Phoenix
When I awoke Alpha Ronan and Luna Corrine had already taken their leave. Luckily, she hadn’t given birth here. I’m sure she’ll have that pup any day now. I got out of bed and showered letting the hot water wash off the day before. I dressed in some sweats and headed down to breakfast. Time to get moving I guess. I grabbed a cup of coffee and sat down next to Fenrik. He had been reading the paper. I noticed right away that the article on the front page was talking about the rogues traveling around. I wanted to snatch it from him and throw it in the trash, but I didn’t. I hated the rogue wolves and wanted them all gone. If I ever caught one I’d show them just what I thought. I couldn’t take it anymore. I had to get out of here. Without saying a word, I walked out to the courtyard. I didn’t wait for Fenrik to meet me out there. I just shifted and took off running. I wasn’t prepared for what I would find..
