She died at sea during a terrible storm and was reborn in another world as daughter of one of the strongest noble houses. Life was nice for young Levi Anberibca, until she came of age to find out her magic affinity. Not only was her affinity the very one that killed her in her previous life…

“Only commoners use that affinity!”

"It's a weak and useless affinity, and only good for cleanups."

"That magic... is only for commoners!"

Looked down upon by many nobles, Levi will prove to them all that even water magic is powerful.

Reincarnation
“She looks so small in your arms.” “She is sleeping so soundly, too.” “Mom! I want to hold her!” “Ssshhh. You'll wake her up.” “Boys. Do not crowd around your mother and baby sister like that.” 'Ugh... So noisy... Whose voices are those?' I wondered, slightly upset that my peaceful sleep was getting disturbed. My eyes slowly opened up, allowing light to enter my sight. From the light was a humanoid shadow of sort. Once my vision became clear, the shadow turned out to be a woman. She was pretty, had long, wavy dark green hair, a gentle face, and light blue eyes. As far as I could see, she also had on a white nightgown. 'Who are you?'' I tried to question, only for weird, baby sounds to come out of my mouth instead. “Oh! She's awake!” came a loud voice that surprised me. I turned to the source of the voice and saw a trio of redhead boys with amber eyes. They had similar appearance, though their hair styles differ. The oldest one had long hair tied in a ponytail, the youngest had a plain crop with a low fade, and the middle kid had taper fade. From what I could see, the oldest seemed to be around the age of ten, the middle boy a couple years younger at most, and the youngest... maybe five years of age? Not only that, but his eyes seem more brown than amber. I tried to get up to get a better look, but found my movement to be restricted. Thinking about it now, for kids, they seem quite... big, I guess? Even the woman was a bit too close. Wait... Now that I think about it, what am I lying on? Looking down at myself, I saw that I was wrapped up in a warm blanket. Not only that, but my hands seemed quite small-  Hang on... My hands are small? Hang on, they are not just small; they were baby hands!!?  'Did I get turned into a baby?!' I wondered in shock. As though subconsciously answering that question, a small cry came out of my baby mouth. “Hello there. Did you get enough sleep?” the woman holding me asked. Rather than answering her question, I tried to recall what happened to me before I ended up in this new form and how I ended up in... well, wherever I am.  'Okay, calm down. Calm down, myself,' I thought to myself, while the boys tried to get my attention. 'Let's think back to what happened. Last I remember... It was night time... I was on a cruise ship, working as a waitress... There were some shaking and...' I widened my eyes when I remembered what happened next. Some time during the cruise, a terrible storm occurred. The weather forecast said nothing about rain that day, so it was a shock when it suddenly started pouring. Everyone was advised to stay in the ship below deck where it was safe. I and many other staff members did what we could to ease the guests of their anxiety and worries. However, amongst the many guests at the bottom deck, a couple was frantically looking for their son, who was not amongst the many people in the room. I and a few others left the room to search for the child. After a few minutes of searching, we found the kid on deck, holding desperately onto the rails, as the ship harshly rocked about. When another wave shook the ship, the boy almost got tossed out to open sea... when I managed to reach him and tossed the kid to one of my co-workers. In the process, though, I fell into the cold, open waters. I tried swimming up to the surface, but because of the storm, the wave was too strong for me to get out. Not only that, the chairs and tables set on deck were getting flung off the cruise ship due of the waves, hitting the ocean waters, as well as myself under the ocean. So much so, I had lost my breath and... 'I died...' There was no other way of explaining what happened; I died from drowning after saving a kid. I died without saying much of a goodbye to my family, without falling in love, without doing anything significant. That... made this baby me cry. “Waaaaahh! Wah waaaah!” “Whoa! W-What's happening?!” the oldest of the redhead trio gasped. “D-Did we do something wrong?!” the middle of the trio asked. “Don't worry. I'm sure she is just feeling overwhelmed by the amount of people here,” the woman holding me calmly answered, rocking this little body of mine. “There, there. Everything is okay.” No... Everything is, in fact, not okay, at all. I don't even know any of you people, much less what my situation is right now. Did I get reborn? I have read many manga and novels on that, but to actually experience it is another thing all together. Especially when the many stories I had read included meeting a God and be granted something to cope with whatever world I end up in, but that did not happen to me. At least, not from what I could remember. I felt something pick me up from the woman's arms and hold me up almost like a trophy of sort. The act made me stop crying, and I came face-to-face with a redhead man... an intimidating glare plastered all over his face... Fear overtook me, though not to the point where I would cry. Either that or I became too scared to dare shed any more tears. “Dear, if you hold and look at her like that, you'll just scare her even more,” the woman said. And I must say, I quite admire her courage to say that to this scary-looking man... More than that, though... did she call him 'dear'? The next thing that occurred came as a shock to me, as the guy then started to hold me in one arm, similar to how the woman had, and used his free hand to... massage his face? Once he removed his hand, the look in his eyes became relaxed and he was giving me a gentle smile. “Sorry. You know how I'm more used to that look,” he reasoned the woman. She simply giggled in response to that. “Well, it's fine, so long as you're not scaring our daughter.” Out of everything that happened, those words were the ones that surprised me the most. I was related to this scary guy?! Well, he was not scary now, but he did say he was more accustomed to the glare he was giving me. My suppose new father looked back at me. “Looking at her, she looks a lot like you than she does me,” he said. “Not true. She has your nose,” the woman, my mother, retorted. “I'm pretty sure it is your nose.” Seeing this guy act as he was now, I could only assume he was not as bad as I thought. ... Maybe... “So what do we call her?” the youngest one of the three boys asked. And seeing how similar they are to my dad, especially in the hair and eyes- for two of the three- would that mean these three were my brothers? “Hmm... Let's see. She is the first female descendant of this family, so her name should be perfect and great. But I don't know any female names befitting for this family,” my father said. If I could in this baby body, I would raise a brow in wonder with what he meant. “Instead of just giving her a powerful name like your sons, why not something simple?” my mother suggested. “Like what?” the oldest of the three redhead children asked. “Well, if she only inherit her looks from her mother, why not a name to show she is related to her father and brothers? Taking the first letter of your names... Levi. How does Levi sound?”  “Levi... Levi Anberibca... That name sounds strong in its own way,” the middle child of the redhead trio stated. “Yes, I agree,” my dad nodded in satisfaction. “All right, then it has been decided. From this day forward, this child's name is Levi Anberibca!” As he said that, the guy held me up in pride. I may be lost here, with the information of my death and sudden reincarnation overwhelming me still, but seeing how happy my family was about me being here... I guess I can try to live a comfortable life in this world.
