To be wanted

    Margie graduated with her engineering degree from a well known engineering school in Boston. She was shocked to get an amazing offer for a full time engineering manager position at a fortune 500 Company in Maine. She made the move to Maine with her longtime bf, Phillip, and their two dogs.      Margie and Phillip relaxed and unpacked in the days leading up to Margie starting her new job. She was happy but always felt unfulfilled. They didnt have passion in their relationship but they were content.     Margie left home for her first day on the job and Phillip excitedly wished her good luck. She made the 30 minute drive to work, took a deep breath, got out of her car, and approached the security booth to get into the manufacturing plant. Once she got through security and recieved her employee badge she was direct towards the HR office. On her walk in she heard a Man yell from behind her "EXCUSE ME! HEY!" she turned around and looked straight into the blue eyes of a muscular man, approximately 6 feet tall, with sandy blonde hair. If Margie had to guess he was about 40 years old. She felt drawn to him instantly but wasnt sure why. She felt herself growing wet just looking at him. Margie just stammered out a "yes?".  The man replied "you dropped your keys" Margie responded with "oh, uh thank you" grabbed her keys and walked to HR. The man walked off in the opposite direction.      After a tour of the manufacturing plant, and a brief new hire safety training, Margie was brought to the manufacturing floor to meet the team that would be reporting to her. She waited in the team room, a office with a glass window overlooking the manufacturing lines with a table, eight chairs, and a computer where the team could meet between shifts. Margie's team walked in, they all greeted her, the last person through the door caused her breath to catch in her chest, it was the same blue eyed man that had picked up her keys. Margie knew her job was going to be harder than she thought. He gave her a sideways grin and introduced himself as Alex.
