The boy and grandpa
Once upon a time there lived a boy. He had many bad habits. So, his parents were worried about his bad habits. With no more options, the parents asked his grandpa to wean the boy away from all his bad habits.
The grandpa agreed and decided to help the boy. And to guide him to the good path.
One fine day, grandpa took the boy to a garden. There were many varieties of trees and plants in the garden. When they saw a tiny plant there, the grandpa asked the boy to pull it out. The boy pulled it out very easily using his fingers.
Next, the grandpa asked him to pull out a slightly bigger plant. The boy pulled it with his right hand and the plant came out.
"Now pull out that one." said the grandpa, pointing to a bush. This time, the boy had to use all his strength to pull that plant out. Finally, grandpa showed him a bigger tree and asked him to pull it out.
The boy grasped the trunk and tried with his might, but he failed to pull it out."It is impossible grandpa ", the boy said. The grandpa smiled, and said, "So it is with bad habits".
"When they are young, it is easy to pull them out. But once they take hold, they cannot be uprooted, however hard you try."
