Chapter Fifty Seven A Week Later
Sydney “Alright. It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for.” Grace grins at us. “We won the lottery?” I joke. She rolls her eyes and I laugh. “Everyone write down what college and fold it up and put it in this hat.” She says putting her hand on her hip. We do as we’re told. She mixes them up and hands them back. “I got my own.” Henry, Brennan and I say at the same time. “Pass them then.” She sighs. We do and I furrow my brow. “Wait.” I say looking around. “Surprise!” Grace yells jumping up and down. My jaw drops and Henry laughs. Brennan kisses grace deeply and I grin like a fool. We’re all staying together. For another four years at least. I lean into Henry’s side and he tightens his grip on me. “We’re gonna be late.” Grace squeals. “Do we have to go?” Henry asks.
