Chapter Fifty Six That Night
Henry We get to Syds house and it’s still dark. Grace walks right in like she owns the place. She goes straight to the bathroom and waltzes in there. We’re not there yet so I hang back. I hear chatter but can’t pick up any words. Grace comes out. “She’ll be out in a few. She’s gotta get her stuff.” We wait in the car and after ten minutes Sydney comes out. She gets in the back. “Where to?” I ask them. Sydney leans up and smiles at me. “Brennans.” I smile at that idea. No matter what we’ll always have this. It was terrible and scary but we’re here. It’s over. We get to Brennans and he takes less time then the girls. We head to my house where we watch terrible rom coms and eat massive junk food.
