“Come on, father and mother do not like to be kept waiting. Father, most especially. He does not like to be kept waiting so it would be in your best interest if you come along with me right now, that is if you still want to be a member of this family” He stretched his hands.
Was this a joke right now? Was he really serious? Was this pride? She however decided to stay mute as she did not want to infuriate herself further. I exhaled out my anger as I held his hand again and continued to walk.
Finally, we got to the dining room together to join the family. It was so great, finally sitting with people I could call family. Although I hoped they would accept me.
“Good evening, father” Tristan greeted as he grabbed a seat. “Good evening, mother” He greeted as he finally settled in his chair. The Queen nodded with a smile on her face.
