“Good evening, your highness” I bowed cautiously. Even while bowing, I could see the King’s eyes. He smiled at me. I was relieved, does. Have that meant I was accepted?
“Good evening, my lady. How are you doing?” He smiled at me.
‘Very well, Your Highness. I am great. I believe you are too” I smiled again.
“Of course, I am. Have your seat” He instructed me.
“My Queen” I smiled widely at the Queen. Somehow, I felt comfortable with her like she was my very own mother.
“My daughter, how are you doing?” She smiled at me. She sat by the right side of the King while Brittany sat next to her. Tristan sat by the left side of the King while she was to sit next to him.
“I am very well, thank you, your Highness” I bowed cautiously.
“Good evening, my Princess” I greeted the Princess who was directly opposite me.
“What a beauty to behold!” Brittany gushed over me. Of course, I was a beauty to behold and I knew it. I blushed as the princess called my name.
“Brittany. You can call me Brittany, after all, you are my sister now. You are just so beautiful. Mother made the right choice in picking you” She smiled at me.
“Thank you, my princess” I blushed.
“Brittany” She corrected.
“Thank you, Brittany” I replied as I had my seat, next to my husband-to-be.
“I have always trusted my wife to make the right decision and that was why I did not hesitate when she went in search of a wife for your brother” He turned to Brittany.
