Chapter 13 :I.. I Love You

    I decided to quit my night job at the restaurant because I want to spend time with Matt. Matt is finally back in my life. Matt and I take turns coming to each others apartments. It's my turn to go to his apartment and I am going to force myself to tell him I love him. We have been friends for almost a year now and it is amazing. I start walking to his apartment. After a little while I knock on his door. He answers the door and then he smiles, Matt opens the door and I walk. Once he closes the door I'm picked up from behind and then I'm in the bridal position. He kisses me and I kiss back, Matt is so sweet. He puts me down and we walk to his kitchen. Matt made lunch for us. Today is also my birthday and I don't know if he remembers from high school. Matt actually might, for one he is the one who told the teacher and then the class sang to me. I would blush so bad. "Merida, happy birthday." He says and gives me hug. "Thank you Matt!" I say and then he starts to sing happy birthday. There he goes again, and I blush. I playfully smack his arm. He made homemade pizza, that is my favorite. How did he know!?! We eat and I help him to the dishes. We got done and we walk to the park together. "Matt Merida." We say each others name at the same time. We smile at each other. "You go first." I say to Matt. "Okay, Merida will you be my girlfriend." He says and look at him. "Yes Matt, yes!" I say and he smiles and kisses me. I kiss back we do that for a while. "I was going to tell you." I say and pause. "I... I love you, I really do." I say finishing my sentence. Matt looks at me and I kiss him. "Merida, I love you too." He says and I feel him smile against my lips. "You do." I say and I look at him. "Yes, I do." He says and I hug him and he hugs back.
