He Loves Me and I Love Him

    I had just moved to New York after college. I work two jobs and I barely get a break, one in the day and one at night. I'm smart enough to run to my car after I leave the buildings. I walk from my car to my first job. "Hey Fallen." I say to my boss, I always do this. She is almost like a sister to me. "Hey Merida, you on cash register today?" Fallen says. "Yes ma'am." "Alright, like the enthusiasm." My boss says walking out of the grocery store. I'm here till five o' clock and then I'm off to my restaurant job thirty minutes away. All through the day until 4:30p.m I was fine. Then I saw him walk in and he was staring at me. Matt was staring at me. My he has changed since I last saw him when I left during eleventh grade. Matt is 6'4" ish and has tattoos all over, but his looks have not changed. With his black hair and green eyes I feel as if I could explode from how my feelings are for him. Matt grabs some chips and a pop. He walks to the register. In the store it is mandatory for you to say hello to customers and it is so hard for me to do this but here goes nothing. "Umm hello." I say feeling my cheeks start to heat up. "Hello Merida." Matt says making me look into his emerald eyes. "You remember me?" I say mentally smacking myself. "Yes, how could I not." He says and I'm so shocked. I ring up his things and bag them. I hand them to him and when I do my fingers brush against his palm. I blush, his hands are soft. Matt smiles and walks out. It now is five o' clock, my next job.
