Chapter 3 :Omg I Like Her and Know I'm Going to Lose Her

Matts POV in the past

    I watch as Merida's best friend Rose asks her to help her with her homework during achievement period. I hear as Merida says. "Sure I will if the teacher allows me to." I watch as she walks up to the teacher and she asks if she can work with Rose. Merida walks back and looks at me and I quickly avert my gaze elsewhere for a little bit. I look back at her to find her working with Rose, the teacher must of said yes. How I know is Merida was never one to break the rules at all. I've heard her tell some other boys she won't date them because her parents told her she wasn't old enough. I always thought that was bull s**t. I should have listened to her parents advice though, I have had one to many girlfriend to count. Merida won't smoke or drink. She'll attend parties but won't do anything but dance by herself or with Rose. She's a goody two shoes. Unlike me, I'm just the opposite. I've smoked and I've even drank. I see Merida look at me and I watch as Rose turns her head away from me and shakes her head. I can't hear what they were saying because the bell rings. Merida walks away from Rose to her locker and I can tell Merida is upset. Her locker is toward the front, her name is Merida Ash. My name is Matt Lock. I like her. What omg I actually like her. Rose walks to Merida and they start talking. 

Merida's POV still in the past

    I look at Matt and he is surrounded by his gang. I think about my past and how they acted. Matt and his gang have vandalized so many things. They have stole things, smoked, drank, and I wouldn't be surprised if they have done drugs. Rose turns my head away from them again and shakes her head. "You need to get over Matt, he is no good for you." She says and I just stare at her. "It's not that easy." I say sounding sad. "Hey why are you sad." Rose asks. "I have some bad news for you." I say and now she looks sad.

Matts POV still in the past

    Merida looks heart broken and all I want to do is run over there and hug her, to tell her everything is alright. I start walking toward the exit slowly so I can hear what Merida is saying. She looks at and looks away sad. Then she says. "Rose I'm moving, I don't know where but, I know I'm moving because I heard my mom and dads conversation." My heart broke in to a million pieces. Omg I like her and know I'm going to lose her. I look at her and she is already looking at me. I felt like running out of this school forever and not coming back. I found myself a good girl I actually like and now I'm losing her. Why couldn't she be able to stay for the rest of high school. At least let her finish eleventh grade. I actually end up running out of the school to my buds house. That was the last time I say her.
