SET OF TWO'S IDENTITY

Chapter three: set of two's Identity

"Good morning father, Good morning mother", Zack greets his parents and slightly bows with his hand at his back.

"What happened to your arm" Christa said when she noticed a bandage tied to Zack's arm as he moved to his seat.

"its nothing I kind of scratch my arm but is not healing fast enough and I don't anyone to see it and make a fuzz about it so I've covered it up" Liam replied.

"You aren't feeling insecure again are you?" Christa continued," by the where is your sister I haven't seen her this morning"

"yeah I think someone should go look for her", everyone turned to look at Zack's face.

"yeah right I should go, ok I get it" Zack said and backed up from his left to look for Ashina in her room.

"Ashina you there, am coming in, ASHINAAA, alright am coming in" Zack forces his way through the door .

"Ash, Ash" Zack called out Ashina's name while lifting her bed sheets and checking under the bed.

Zack hurried downstairs " mom Ashina ain't in her room, "where could she be, well I'll look around the house maybe she'd gone somewhere" Christa exclaimed.

An hour came by and still no sign of Ashina presence so Adolphus decided to take matters into his own hands.

He went to Ashina room, eyes glowing bright red as he sniffs the room for Ashina scent.

"there you are", Adolphus said as he successfully picked up Ashina's scent which led him to the mansion's front gate.

Loud grinning, fur boring through his skin and hands and legs changing to claws and paws, Adolphus transforms and leaps into the woods in search of his beloved Ash.

"who are you" Ashina asks Liam, "wow and that's the thanks I get for saving your life , a knife to my throat" Liam replied

"Don't get cocky, just answer my question who are you and how did I end up here and why am I half naked" Ash persisted.

"Which one do you want me to answer first, your cloths probably" Liam continues to tease her as she sit on top of Liam on the floor with a knife to his throat.

Ashina become quite for moment and glared upon Liam's eyes.

She became lost in Liam eyes as she feels a sensation she'd never felt before " what's this sweet yet uneasy feeling, perhaps this was what mama told me about concerning finding your mate" Ash says in her head.

"Hey, lady" Liam snaps her back into reality "can you get off me now, I can't breath properly", Ashina gets off of Liam .

"My name is Liam - wondering how you got here, well some werewolf almost killed you then I showed up and rescued you and for your cloths well they were ripped of during your battle, not my fault all I did was clean you". Liam said and walked out to pick the basket of vegetables he'd dropped.

" where am I" Ashina asked as she follows Liam outside, "you're in the Amoux territory" Liam replied.

" now lets go inside and let me make us something to eat".

While Ashina wait by the four person dinner table, Liam presents her with a chunk of medium rare steak, a portion of rice and curry and side salad.

"dinner is served my Lady " Liam said while he takes his seat by her side and starts to eat.

Ashina was hesitant, afraid if the food is poisoned, she first poked the steak with her folk showing an anxious look on her face.

"Eat up, and don't worry my food is delicious"

She cut a slice of the steak and eats it then her facial expression suddenly changed

"Ha Ha, see I told you my cooking is good" Liam said upon seeing the expression on Ashina's face.

" so where are you from, and why what's another werewolf hunting you" Liam starts a conversion.

" My name is Ashina from the blood moon territory, am on a quest to find my mate and as for the wolf who tried to kill me I have no idea who that was".

"You said you're looking for your mate right?, well you're in luck cause you just found him"

Ashina stops for while, " well I know you felt it too when you aimed the knife to my throat" Liam said to Ash.

"how can you be soo sure" Ash replied , " because I felt it too when I rescued you and if you think am lying stay here for a couple of days and lets see and besides you're in the Amoux territory rumour has it that trespassers punishment is execution".

"done eating?" Liam asked, Ash shakes her head in response, "okay am doing the dishes you go and shower, there are some of my mom's cloths in the wardrobe" Liam gets up,picked the plates and went to wash them and Ashina went to the bathroom to shower.

Under the shower, all Ashina could think off is Liam, his eyes, his muscular figure and is all strange to her cause this is her first time she'd felt affection toward another, "perhaps it might me true , he could be my long awaited mate, well let me wait here for a while" Ashina says to herself.

She opened the wardrobe to help herself with some of Liam's mother's cloth.

"Can I come in" Liam said after knocking on the door, Ashina muffled for a while and let out a loud "come in".

"there's something I want to give to you and is accompanied by a question" Liam said as he steps in the room and slowly walks toward Ashina .

"what is it?" Ash replies,

Close your eyes for a while, Ashina was hesitant at first but does it either way.

Liam crosses his arms around her neck and gently puts a pendent on her neck," open your eyes, I believe this belongs to you".

"yes, thank you".

" say, who exactly are you?", the room becomes silent for a while.

"From the look of things you're from the royal family of the Blood moon pack and if am correct you're the daughter of the great Adolphus the legendry werewolf, am I wrong?"

Ashina's face blanked for a while " yes, yes I am, wait you're not going to take me back are you" Ashina desperately asks".

" oh, no I believe in freedom and if only you're here by your own will I have no right to deny you and beside am you mate aren't I" Liam said which a charming look on his face.

Lost for a while, Ashina blushes as she snaps back into reality, " perhaps you are" Ashina Answers with a smirk.

" and what about you who are you exactly?" Ashina asks,

" well am just an ordinary member of the Amoux pack, my parents owned this place "

"where are they now" Ashina asks.

" well they are with the moon goddess high in the skies" Liam replies with a faint smile,

" am sorry" Ash apologizes,

" No need besides they are at peace.

"I have to go take care of something in town hope you'll be ok?"

"yes , I will do just fine" Ash replies

" ok then see you later" Liam said and walks out of the room leaving Ashina alone in the house.

"where could you have gone to Ash" Adolphus says to himself as he races against time in search of his daughter"

Adolphus takes a sudden brake , " no, no, no " Adolphus said in frustration .

Tears filled his eyes as he gazed upon his daughter's ripped cloths and the jade bracelet he gave her shattered into bloody pieces and a blood stain that leads straight into the Amoux territory.

Broken after witnessing the horrific scene knelt down in Agony .

Liam returns to the cottage to find Ashina asleep, he bowed his head and gave her a good night kiss on her cheeks and left.

Half Asleep, Ashina saw and felt Liam's kiss but was calm and let out a faint smile and slept.

Morning came and Adolphus has returned from his search and so has Zack.

Adolphus enters the main Hall of the mansion lost, he faces the floor as he slowly drags his body inside.

" what is it dear" Christa asked and hastily run toward him.

With no response what so ever from Adolphus, Christa reached for his hands but backed up a bit in shock after she'd seen the blood stained ripped pieces of garment and the broken jade bracelet in his hands

"NO, NO , NO "Christa said , with tears in her eyes she hurried up the stairs and head to her chamber.

Blank, Adolphus continues to drag his body in grief and also head to his chambers.

Later that day Zack returns from his quest hoping that his Father or the other werewolves who went scouting the entire territory has return with his sister safe and sound.

"Has my father and the others returned" Zack asked the guards in front of the mansion gates.

The nodded their head in response.

Zack hastily entered and quickly made his way upstairs and barged into the Alpha's chambers.

"Dad, where's Ash did you find her?, is she ok?, why aren't you answering me?" Zack asked.

Christa sitting on the bed sobbing and Adolphus still in trauma after what has happened.

Zack reached Adolphus , grabbed him by the shoulder and shock hoping to get answers.

He stopped for a moment and saw the pieces of garment in Adolphus's hand stained with blood and the broken Jade.

"NO!,NO" Zack says in shock refusing to adhere to the current situation.

he storms out of the room just like he came, refusing to accept the fact that his sister is gone.
