Chapter Two: Rescue
"The woods seems to be in distress today" Liam said with a frowned as he keeps turning back and forth on the low but quality old queens bed.
"if I recall correctly this side of the territory use to be quite at this time of the night " Liam continues.
He got up, walked to the window to try and see what's going on but all he could see is the blurriness
Of the old cold cottage window.
Liam returned to the bed once again to try and rest in the distress but heard a one loud howl and that was the last straw for him.
Liam got up in a haste, grabbed his tight black pants lying on the other side of the bed, he sat on the bed to wear his boots and desperately looked for his shirts but to no use.
He grabbed his black cloak hanging on the brown vintage free standing coat rack close to the door and headed out.
Liam only wearing a loose cloak and a pair of trousers, began to breath warm air into his palm.
He shivers as he walks on some broken branches while he stroll through the woods.
"who are those werewolf" Liam whispers to himself and quickly hides behind a bush near by.
While he hid behind the bush, he saw a werewolf relentlessly pursuing another werewolf in his territory.
So as to get a much clearer view of what exactly is going on Liam snuck from his current position and hid behind another bush closer to the scene.
As he hid there, he witnessed a werewolf a slowing turning into a beautiful girl perhaps the most prettiest he'd ever seen.
She had thick dark hair, bright yellow eyes and a wolf ear which slowing turned to that of a human.
Liam's eyes flashed with a sparkle followed by a sweet yet uneasy feeling in his belly that he had never felt before in his entire life.
But unfortunately, she was held up in the sky by another werewolf, a muscular one, ready to strike her dead by snapping her throat, so he knew he had to do something.
"ENOUGH!, let her go" Liam said and jumped into the scene.
The mysterious werewolf let Ashina go and she fell on the floor, all she could see was a person standing in a distance with a glowing red eyes before she passed out.
The mystery werewolf let out a loud howl and sprints towards Liam.
Liam quickly slides beneath the mystery wolf as it jumps.
With a loud howl, Liam's red eyes begins to glow, fangs begins to grow and hairs covers his skin as he looks up to the moon.
Liam has transform into a Gmund Heidi dull black with a tint of blue werewolf.
The two werewolves dashed towards each other.
The mysterious werewolf pounced on Liam and struck Liam's face, Liam responded by grabbing a nearby brick and smashed it against the wolf's head causing him to move off of Liam.
The mysterious werewolf after seeing his own blood, angrily rushed towards Liam but Liam grabbed him by the neck and slammed him against the ground displaying his enormous strength.
The werewolf pierce Liam's ribs with its claws causing him to roar in pain, he pushed Liam back ready to deliver a deadly attack but Liam quickly overpowers him and strikes him to the ground, grabbed and teared off some flesh from it's hand he then let out a loud roar causing the mysterious werewolf to flee in defeat.
Liam limps as he makes his way toward the helpless and unconscious Ashina, he slowly kneeled by her side and took a moment to admire her beauty.
He slowly picked up a stained pendant which seemed to have fell during Ashina's struggle.
Liam laid by her side on the floor, looked up to the moon and with smile a he falls asleep.
Hours passed almost getting to sunrise and Liam has finally woken up, he takes a glance at Ashina who's still unconscious lying by his side.
Liam gets up and held Ashina with his is two hands and heads back to the cottage.
Upon arriving at the house, Liam rests Ashina on the bed and sat beside her constantly starring at her yellow eyes.
"why was he after you anyway, what did you do?" Liam asked even though Ashina has not woken up yet.
Liam went to the kitchen and heated up some water, he grabbed a towel and made his way back to the bedroom where Ashina was lying.
He settled the bucket of warm water on the floor close to the bed, he bowed to dip the towel into to the bucket of water and then carefully wiped the body of the wounded Ashina.
He carefully wiped her feet and slowly moved up to the thigh and wiped the blood off her wounds as the heal.
He then dipped the towel into the bucket and squeezed the water out into the bucket then he carefully clean part of her tommy where her cloths has been torn and her hands and face.
Liam finished with the clean up, picked the bucket up and walked back to the kitchen.
"Is almost sunrise let me make something for dinner" Liam said to himself and open up to kitchen cupboard and found its empty.
Liam grabbed his boots and head out to pick some ingredients to prepare dinner.
He picked leaves and vegetables and head back to the cottage.
Upon approaching the cottage he found that the cottage door has been open, Liam dropped the vegetables and run towards the house hoping Ashina is Okay.
When Liam got to the room where he left Ashina, she wasn't there.
He quickly rushed back outside in frustration hoping to pick a scent of another's presence but to no avail so he went back inside.
Standing at the back of the door Liam felt another person's presence but before he could react someone pounced on him from behind with a knife to his throat ready to cut it open.
