Meela looked up at Kaius, her voice hoarse. "Kaius. You have a brain tumor."
Kaius froze. His mind went completely blank.
Catherine fainted.
They went back to the hospital immediately. The doctor handed them the CT scan.
"It's growing very quickly," he said gravely. "Even if we operate immediately, the chances of success are less than 30%. You need to prepare yourselves for the worst."
Everyone looked at Kaius. But Kaius was only looking at Meela.
He smiled. A small, sad smile. "You hear that, Meela? I'm dying. Will you forgive me now?"
