"I throw my hands up in the air sometimes say aaaa O gotta let go!!!!." The C.D player was on full blast, and I swung about in the kitchen using a spoon as a microphone. Oh god I love Taio Cruz, I love his sunnies. A few tears formed in my eyes when I thought about my crunched sunnies. I had loved those glasses. Clay was off somewhere doing whatever hot sexy guys did in their spare time. I let myself imagine what that could be for a few seconds,
"Coz it goes on anddd onn annd on..." I danced over to the oven and stared at biscuits. How long do you cook cookies for? An hour or something wasn't it?
"Miss Burnley? Miss Burnley!!" A servant shouted from the kitchen doorway,
"Yeah?" I called back. She held a phone in her hand,
"It's your father!" I suppose I should have turned off the music before I took the phone but it was a good song.
"Hey dad!"
"Scarlett? Turn that bleddy music off!" He screamed. Oh well that was nice wasn't it? No hey my wonderful daughter how are you? Just a scream,
"Don't you like Taio Cruz dad?"
"Turn it off." He said. I turned it off. God he was being a right grump. It's not my fault he rang when I was listen to an epic song. Maybe if he listened to MTV once in awhile.
"Are you listening?" He shouted down the phone,
"Dad there's no need to shout anymore I've turned the music off." He done a huge dramatic sigh,
"How was your swimming lesson?" He asked. Swimming lesson? Did I get swimming lessons? Oh yeah I remember.
"Yeah it was cool dad." I lied,
"You swam?" He asked,
"Uhuh, in fact you should just tell Clay to stop them dad. I can already swim." He was silent as I prayed,
"No. I want to talk to Clay first. Is he there?" I watched yummy Clay walk into the kitchen and sniff about,
"Scarlett?" Dad asked. Clay opened the oven and a waft of black smoke hit him in the face. Oh the cookies were burning, like proper on fire burning,
"SCARLETT!!!" I jumped out of my skin,
"WHAT?" I shouted back at my dad watching Clay grab a bowl of water,
"Is he there?"
"Who?"
"CLAY!" My dad screamed,
"NO!" I put the phone down and walked up to the smoking cookies,
"Are they burnt?" I asked.

I walked into the main room eating a charcoal cookie. I planned to have a Vampire Diaries marathon when Clay walked in,
"I spoke to your dad." He said. I nodded and munched the cookie,"You lied to him." He stated. I nodded again and switched on the telly. He switched it off. I switched it on, he switched it off, I switched it on,
"Scarlett grow up. Why did you lie to him?" He said. I threw the remote at his head. It missed and smashed on the wall,
"Maybe I don't want to chat to you about everything!" I shouted,
"Maybe that's exactly what you need!" He responded,
"I don't need anything, take a look around Clay, I have everything a girl could wish for and if I don't have it then one phone call and I soon will."
"Yeah? Are you happy?" He questioned. I don't need this. He's wrong I'm happy, super happy. I stood up and walked out the room,
"Where are you going now!"
"Out and don't follow me!" I shrieked at him,
"I have to follow you, it's my job," He hissed and stepped behind me. I spun around and stared into his cute face. Why was I even angry with him? Because he had found a way in. I'd built a wall which no one could enter, and he was taking each brick down. I had to keep focus,
"Maybe you should get a new job!" I shouted. He stared at me with anger on his face. I sighed, "Look no one will even recognise me in this." I pointed at my clothes. It was his turn to sigh then,
"Fine, do what you like. It's not like I could stop you." He muttered and walked away. I stared at him in shock. It had been that easy? Seriously? And I had thought maybe, he started to like me. Grow up Scarlett, he is a man, and you are just a shallow rich kid in his eyes. Yet the way he had looked at me in the art studio. Its been four days Scarlett, people don't fall in love in four days. There was love at first sight though, yeah in fairy tales. I clamped my arguing mind shut. What was I doing again? Oh right, now I would have to go out alone. I stared in the mirror, well at least I didn't look like me in what I was wearing, and these pumpy shoe things were quite comfy.

The gorilla security guard was at the gate,
"Let me out." I shouted through the bars. He stared at me, "Please?" Gorilla typed in a number on the key code and the gates swung open,
"Are you going out alone?" He shouted at me. I ignored him. Well it was a bit obvious I was out alone wasn't it? I heard heavy breathing behind me,
"Wait!" It was Gorilla,
"What?" OK so I know I sounded like a super rude rich b***h, but I was in a mood,
"You can't go out alone, let me come with you," He said. I watched small beads of sweat drip down his face from his upper lip. Ewww,
"I'm OK. I want to go."
"Just leave her!" I turned and saw Clay staring at me from the other side of the gate. Gorilla looked at me hopelessly and walked back to his post. I watched them for a few moments and carried on walking down to the beach.

When I was little...well I say little, what I mean is about a year ago me and my dad would come to the beach every morning. We found this small patch of sand, which was always empty of people and sat between the two cliffs of rocks. Some times we would swim in the crazy waves or make a huge sand castle...but like I said, that was about a year ago.
The sun glistened down of the specks of sand as sat down and stared out to sea. I really wish I had a pair of sunnies right now or something to eat. I pulled out a burnt cookie and stared at it. Why was Clay so different to all the other Gorillas? Sure, the other bodyguards were told by my dad to look out for me and maybe teach me some fighting stuff, but... Clay always wanted to chat. After four days of knowing him he'd already got me figured out in more ways than my dad ever had. Someone once said to me that everyone is just searching for someone to understand them. Did Clay understand me? I suppose it's hard to look past his utter hotness and see a real person under it.
I watched a lonely figure surf in the waves. This was the first time I'd been out alone for a year...it was different to how I thought it would be. The surfer was walking back to shore now, I saw it was a guy with blond hair. All surfer's have beach blond hair and sea blue eyes right?
"Scarlett?" He peered at me as he walked passed. Oh god NO! No one was suppose to recognize me in my tramp gear. I ignored him but I heard his footsteps slipping in the sand,
"Hey, I thought it was you...it's me James...yano from your party?"
James? The boy I'd made out with? The boy who had pushed me in the pool?! I was on my feet in seconds. He looked genially scared,
"You pushed me in the pool!" I kinda shouted and pointed at his bare (quite muscular) chest,
"No..."
"Yes! And then you left without even saying sorry!"
"No..."
"And you didn't even bother to come back down with flowers or a new pair of sunnies to say sorry!" I was steaming now. A small red rash had appeared on his chest where I kept prodding him,
"Shut up a minute!" He screamed at me. I shut up,
"I bleddy tried to save you after I realized you can't swim..."
"I can swim" I interrupted,
"...But your bodyguard man pushed me out the way and took you inside and when I hung around for about an hour to say sorry he told me to piss off"
"Oh" I mumbled,
"Yeah...oh"
He had tried to save me? My temper calmed down...a bit. I stared at James and saw his boyish cute face with it's dotted little freckles staring back,
"You wanna get food or something?" I asked. He nodded.

By the time I got back to the villa the sun was setting. Gorilla stood by the gate. He looked relived when he saw me,
"You're OK" He looked shocked,
"Uhuh" I mumbled and walked inside. The kitchen was empty, the rooms were empty. Where is everybody?
"Clay?!" I shouted. No answer. I walked up to my room and opened the door. Well...It was cleaned up. I had new black silky bed covers and my curtains had been replaced. A new thick rug covered the floor and the walls had been repainted. In the corner of my room a dozen shopping bags sat in the corner along with boxes of shoes. Ohhh new clothes! Yay! I went and peered through them. New make-up and perfume as well. I smiled slightly and sat on my bed feeling empty. What was wrong with me? I should be happy, my room had been cleaned. I had all my stuff replaced and ready for college tomorrow. On my bedside table a small box sat, like one of those present boxes with the ribbons and silky wrapping paper. I tore open the box, frowned and picked them up. What the...Oh...but who had given me them? They were limited edition Ray Bans sunnies. Exactly like my old ones. I put them on and looked in the mirror. Now I was a stylish looking tramp,
"Your back" I turned and saw Clay standing in the doorway. His hair had been gelled and he wore a shirt instead of the plain white t-shirt he always wore around me. A doze of his clover smooth aftershave reached me,
"Where are you going?" I asked. He smiled,
"Out"
"Where?" I asked,
"Out, see you later" He turned and left,
"But what if I want to go out!" I shouted after him,
"I'm sure one night won't hurt you"
"But....what if someone comes and tries to break in?" Clay laughed and stopped,
"There are extra security guards are duty tonight..." He said,
"But I want you to stay" I mumbled,
"Unfortunately Scarlett, you can't get everything you want"
"Stupid jerk" I muttered as he left...
