The sun wasn't shining today. In fact when I opened my new black curtains huge blobs of rain were splattering down on my window. The clouds were thunder storm black. The day I get brand new sunnies and I couldn't even wear them. I watched the servants from my window getting wet by the pool, trying to pull the rain cover over it. One slipped and fell over bouncing into the other servant. Oh god, why did we have umpa lumpas for servants?
I hate rain no matter what you wear you look like your wrapping up. I don't want to wrap up! It's almost the end of summer! I want to wear shorts, and t-shirts, and sun glasses, and sun hats, yeah you get the idea. I showered, got dressed in a long diesel pink top, and wore some skinny jeans underneath it. It was so nice to dress like a human after yesterday.
When I walked into the breakfast room Clay was only just sitting down. I stared at him,
"You have a hangover." I said and tucked into my yogurt. He looked up through half closed eyes and stared at me,
"I don't." He mumbled,
"Yeah you do." I chuckled, "Are you still drunk or can you drive me to college?"
"I don't have a hangover Scarlett." He grumbled. Aww he is so hot when he is hungover. His hair which was usually styled was messy and very sexy. Yummy! He looked up and caught my eye,
"What?" He asked. I didn't answer. I was just thinking how incredible hot you were Clay. Hmmm he could be a model with his deep green eyes. Maybe I should send in a few photos of him to model agencies? He could be a grump but wow he was hot. He was so hot that I could fry an egg on him and...
"Scarlett!" He shouted,
"Hmm?" I said still thinking about frying eggs on him. Oh god and then eating the eggs which had touched him, it would be like a part of him inside me. OK maybe that trail of thought had gone a bit far,
"...and when you get back I'm really gonna have to start those lessons," He was saying. I nodded and pretended I knew what he was on about. We got up and walkedan to the gates in the rain. Gorilla was stood there in his usual spot,
"Are you sure your OK driving?" I asked staring at his face, trying to decide if he was still drunk,
"I told you. I'm not drunk." He said,
"Hey Clay, nice night last night huh?" Gorilla shouted, "I still feel a bit drunk bet you do as well," He laughed,
"You went out with Gorilla?" I muttered to Clay but he ignored me and went over to talk to him. They were all laughing and joking for hours and hours,
"Oi Clay! Move your drunken butt! I'm gonna be late," I shouted. Gorilla laughed,
"You got your hands full with that one," He said. Argh I hate it when people say such cheesy stuff! But at least Clay was walking over to the car. He got in and turned the engine on. I reached out slowly and flicked the radio on,
"Oh Scarlett please don't start!" He shouted over hot n cold by Katy Perry,
"But I thought you weren't hungover..."
"I'm not. I just like half decent music."
I was shocked into silence as he switched it off. Who doesn't like Katy Perry?? OK so maybe her I kissed a girl song wasn't your average song but that was what made it so good!
"What sort of music do you like?" I asked. Clay sighed and rubbed his head, "You have a headache?" I know I'm being completely annoying and irritating but there is just something about making hot guys mad,
"Yes I have a headache Scarlett" He growled between teeth. I laughed and remembered,
"Ohhhh I said I would totally pick up James on the way to college," I smiled. Ok, so I know James pushed me in the pool but he was kinda sweet in a cute baby face kinda way and he had brought me lunch yesterday and it was his first day in our school. I shoved James's address at Clay and five minutes we drove up beside an average small house. Clay was moaning about not being a taxi service,
"You wouldn't be a good taxi driver anyhow because you're basically drink driving," I snapped which shut him up,
"Aww thanks for giving me a lift Scarz," James said as he got in the back seat. I tried not to flinch too much when he used my horrible nickname,
"It's OK, Clay doesn't mind,"
"Doesn't he?" Clay mumbled softly under his breath.

One thing about school is how boring it can be .I usually like my lessons, but R.E... (Religious education) A levels was as fun as watching paint dry, well I suppose watching paint dry would be OK if you had someone hot with you, like Clay, who currently stood against the wall along with a few other bodyguards. Yeah rich people, like their bodyguards,
"Scarlett can you tell me what the Buddha saw when he went outside his fathers kingdom?" Miss Secome stared at me through her insect eyes, she had two damp Sweet patches under her armpits and if you looked at her toes, well lets just say scabby flaky skin, ewww,
"Well Scarlett?" She asked. Huh? Oh right question, about Buddha OK, first thing he saw outside of the kingdom, sky? No, tree's? Oh I know,
"People. He saw normal people. like people who were ill and old and stuff and he was really confused because his dad had hidden them things from him."
"Yes he saw an old man, a sick man, a dead man and a holy man." I let her voice drown away as I smiled to myself feeling proud at how clever I was.

"I'm not driving you back Scarlett you have a lesson now go to it." Clay blocked the changing room door,
"I want to go home." I said trying to stay calm,
"Get in there, get dressed and go out to the pool." He snapped,
"You can't make me!"I shouted in his face,
"You wanna bet?" His green eyes glowed dangerously and I saw the fiercer side of Clay breaking out a bit, his bad ass side, totally sexy. My heart flipped as I stared at him. He was looking at me in a silent anger. The thumps of Miss Jello broke our gaze,
"Hurry up Scarlett and get dressed," She walked back out,
"Admit you can't swim and I will take you home," He said,
"I can swim." I muttered and picked up the swimming costume, "Well? Get out I'm getting dressed."

The cool blue water stared at me. The small ripples dancing in the lights of the pool room. Clay stood by the wall staring at me. I took a deep breath. You can do this Scarlett it's only water, it's just like the rain from the sky,
"OK everyone in you get," Miss Jello called from her chair. I bent down and put a foot in the water, just a bit more. I could feel my pulse quickening and my heart thumping too fast, a wave of dizziness hit me and my breath was gasping too loud. There was this ringing in my ears which drowned out all the other noises and then a blackness hit me.
The car swerved around the deer and we crashed down through tall tree's. I could hear mum shouting but her words were distant to me. Everything was happening too quick. One second we were surrounded by trees, the next we had splashed into a giant river. Water cracked at the windows as we sunk to the bottom,
"I can't get my seat belt off!"" I shouted and the car was filling up with water. I took a breath before it passed my head and unbuckled the belt. My dad had smashed his window open and he was pulling himself through it. He grabbed my mum's hand and mum grabbed me. We were almost out but my foot got trapped, and the next thing I knew my mum's hand was gone. The darkness surrounded me, and I needed to take a breath, but I held on somehow. I felt someone's arms around me pulling me up to the top of the river. I didn't know who it was till after, didn't know who had saved me until she had died...
"Scarlett!!!" I felt a smack against my cheek and I opened my eyes seeing the most deepest green eyes gazing back at me. Pure heaven,
"Clay? You're all wet. What happened?" I asked,
"You had a panic attack and passed out. I didn't even realise until you fell in the pool."
"Oh." I mumbled,
"Can you swim Scarlett?" He stared at me,
"I use to be a..." He interrupted,
"Can you swim?" He repeated,
"No...No I Can't." I muttered.
