Chapter 3 Apologies

Jack ran to where Alissa was as he tried touching her but Clara pushed him away too.

"Who the hell are you?" Clara asked

"I'm Jack her friend" said Jack.

"when did u meet her" Clara asked

"today" Jack replied and Clara frowned

"okay please help me carry her,so that i can get a cab" said Clara and Jack nodded.

Jack took Alissa to his car instead of a cab.

"it's my car, hop in" said Jack and Clara entered. She sat beside Alissa and patted her hair softly.

"Everything is gonna be fine" said Clara.

"Cla... Cla... Cla..ra" Alissa stammered

"It's gonna be fine" said Clara Once again, reassuring her.

Few minutes later, Jack pulled up at Clara's house.

Clara supported Alissa all the way to the sitting room.

immediately they entered Mrs Rosemary sprang up from her sit and adjusted her glasses.

"what happened to her?" Mrs Rosemary asked

"She was pushed into the swimming pool by a crazy bastard" and she took Alissa to her room. She then placed her on the bed.

"Clara I'm home" said Alissa

"yes, go and change into something warm or else you will catch cold" said Clara and Alissa left to do as she was told. She went to her bag to pick something to wear and then changed into it before drying her hair. She went back to where Clara was, when she was done. She needed to find out the guy was that pushed her in to the pool.

She back to the bed to sit down with Clara.

"who was that guy?" said Alissa

"which guy?" said Clara

"the guy that pushed me into the swimming pool" said Alissa and Clara signed heavily.

"His name is Raymond, he's the leader of this famous gang called the REBEL. He's famous, from a wealthy family and he's also a celebrity. He sleeps with girls and changes them as if they are shirts that he wears. He's also cold hearted, though he's super handsome. Clara explained.

" huh! really, by the way, it's almost time for dinner, let me go and prepare it" said Alissa and was about leaving when Clara grabbed her hand.

"wait, I will cook. you are not feeling good" said Clara when Alissa starting laughing.

"why are you laughing?" Clara asked

"can you even cook?" said Alissa still laughing and Clara frowned.

"are you mocking me?" Clara asked

"no I'm not" said Alissa as she continues to laugh.

"fine, just stop laughing" Clara muttered..

"alright, let me go and cook" said Alissa once again while trying to leave.

"wait". said Clara and Alissa turned around to face Clara.

" What is it?" Alissa asked

"I want to watch how you cook"

"alright no problem" said Alissa and she left while Clara followed her to the kitchen.

Clara was excited. "what are you cooking?" Clare asked

"chicken pepper soup with white rice"

"Wow! that's nice, I love it. said Clara

Alissa brought out all the things that she will be needing for the preparation and then explained each of them to Clara. few hours later, the food was ready. Clara help out in serving the food and everyone had ate to their satisfaction.

The next day, Mrs Rosemary, Duke and Clara left the house to go on a family panic, Clara asked Alissa to come along but Alissa refused saying that the house was dirty. Clara gave up persuading Alissa and they all left without her.

Alissa was dusting off the furnitures in the sitting room, when the door bell rang.

"are they back already" Alissa asked herself before opening the door.

"Welcome ma, I tho... wait! it's you again" said Alissa after realizing that it was Mrs Rosemary instead it was Raymond.

"What are you doing here?" Alissa asked

"I can't never believe I'm the one saying this, but I'm sorry about what happened yesterday at the club. I never knew you were an orphan, I'm sorry" Raymond apologized.

"sorry, just sorry" said Alissa

"What else do you want me to do, lick ur toes or use my hands to comb your hair?" said Raymond

"That was the same thing I said to you yesterday but you said I was rude and you threw me into the pool" said Alissa

"I overreacted, I'm sorry once again" said Raymond

"apology accepted" Alissa muttered as she slammed the door on him.

She stood by the window and watched as he got into this car and drove off.

"I never knew that rich people can say sorry, I need to tell Clara when she comes back" said Alissa to herself.

After few hours, Mrs Rosemary, Duke and Clara came back home laughing heartenly, but to their surprise Alissa was smiling brightly. Mrs Rosemary entered and gave Alissa a warm hug. "welcome ma" Alissa greeted as they disengaged from the hug.

"oh my dear, I wish you came along, it would've been fun" same Mrs Rosemary

"oh! so sorry next time, I will definitely come along" Alissa assured .

"I'm hungry is there any food in the house" said Duke

"does Alissa look like your maid?" asked Clara

"but she is a maid" said Duke and Alissa frowned.

"mind you, she is a caregiver not your maid" said Clara

Mrs Rosemary shaked her head as Clara an Duke kept on arguing.

"Enough!" Mrs Rosemary yelled and they both kept quiet.

"Alissa I need to talk to you" said Clara and Alissa followed her. They both got to Clara's room and Alissa stood at the door as Clara went in to drop her bag.

"what is it that you want to talk about?" asked Alissa

"Be extremely careful with my brother, he is not a good guy as you tho..." Alissa interrupted her.

"I know! you have told me this before" Alissa muttered

"it's not a matter of play, I'm warning you because I like you" said Clara.

Alissa hugged her

"thank you very much, I will be careful. I got a huge gist for you" Alissa squealed.

"what is it? spill it" Clara question

"you won't believe it, well the almighty Greek God Raymond came over to apologise to me, I said that he was so sorry for pushing me into the swimming pool" said Alissa and Clara was surprised but happy at the same time.

"wow! it's a miracle, Raymond has never said sorry to anyone ever before, you are lucky" Clara teased

"lucky how?" Alissa asked

"maybe he likes you" said Clara

"don't say trash, we just bumped into each other four days ago, and you think he likes me" said Alissa while fiddling with her dress .

"haven't you heard of love at first sight?" Clare asked

"I don't believe in love at first sight okay, let me how go serve lunch, mom must be hungry" said Alissa as she walked away to the kitchen.
