NO EXCUSE NO ESCAPE: The coming tragedy

Every road leads to a destination I want you to understand one thing before we get deeper into this book and the purpose of it to everything in life there is always a destination ahead, yes a destination is always there that is the way of life, we cannot escape this fact it has been there since the beginning of time and it will always be there until the end. Every road leads to a destination if today you are driving, you are going on a journey let’s say this journey you have embarked on is to go and visit your family in your hometown. Once you start off from home in your mind you know that you are going to visit people in your hometown and in order to get there. There is a route you must take to get to your destination, you will not use every road when driving but you will only drive on the road that will get you to the place you are going to, so you stay on that path. Every day that goes by, every day that comes by as people we are always in motion, we are always moving from place to place whether you move only from your house to your workplace it is still movement that you are making and to it there is always a destination. I want you to understand this that the same is with life today. The kind of life we are living here on earth will determine our destination, the righteous kind of leaving will lead to eternal life and the unrighteous kind of life will lead to nothing but destruction. For this we cannot give an excuse to why we live in a wrong way that is unpleasing in the sight of God, we are alive today because God has given us a chance to repent. He his kind enough to give you a chance to change your ways and live right so we have no excuse to give and we cannot escape the punishment ahead, we have to face every destination we get to. An example of Sodom and Gomorrah I am sure most of us Christians have heard of this story in Sunday school, I remember I used to love such stories and up to now I still do because they teach us to live our lives in a righteous way that is pleasing to God they also show us the anger of God and what punishment he brings to those who live in sin. In GENESIS 12:20~21 “then the lord said, I have heard many times that the people of Sodom and Gomorrah are very evil I will go and see if they are bad as I have heard then I will know for sure” In reference to the scripture above God was talking to Abraham about the evil he heard about Sodom and Gomorrah. The question is where did God hear about the sins of the two cities, he is God he sees everything, his present everywhere. We have to understand that in this time of Abraham there were people who still obeyed God, people who still served him faithfully and priests, servants of God were still around at that time. So when God said I heard, it is because the righteous people who lived at that time the servants of God talked of the sins that Sodom and Gomorrah did. God told Abraham that I will go and see if they are as bad as I have heard. We must understand that before God does anything he first reveals it to his servants that is why he went to Abraham. In GENESIS 19:1~25, we are told in scripture that God destroyed the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah because of their sins, now God could have waited until all of them died but he had to come and destroy the city because of the complaints made towards Sodom and Gomorrah by the righteous people. That is why in, PSALMS 34:17 “The righteous cry out and the lord hears them, he delivers them from all their troubles” So the city of Sodom and Gomorrah troubled the righteous people and they had to cry out to God because the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah were too much. Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah was great so God had to destroy it completely. This is what is happening in today’s generation many are living in sin and the righteous are crying out to God even those that died a long time ago. In REVELATION 6:10 “And they cried with a loud voice saying, how long O lord holy and true, does thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on earth” The persecuted and slain ones are represented as crying for retribution on judgment on their oppressors. I encourage you all today to change your ways and live a life that is right in the sight of God, for time has run out. It is today that we must repent and not tomorrow for tomorrow may be too late. The gospel of LUKE 17:28~30 “It will be the same as during the time of lot when God destroyed Sodom, those people were eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting and building houses for themselves they were doing these things on the day when lot left town. Then fire and sulfur rained down from the sky and killed them all this is exactly how it will when the son of man comes again. The bible here is telling us that as it was in the time of Sodom and Gomorrah so shall it be also in this time because what was happening then is what is happening now. LET’S TURN OUR FOCUS ON GOD BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE IN NOAHS DAYS SO SHALL IT BE ALSO In Ecclesiastes 1:9 “All things continue the way they have been since the beginning the same things will be done that have always been done” There is nothing new under the sun evil will never change, it will always be evil, sin will never change it to will always remain sin. Just like righteousness will always be righteousness and goodness will always be goodness as long as we are still here on earth, waiting for the coming of our lord Jesus Christ. Evil will remain to be evil so people will sin those that don’t want to change and turn away from their evil ways will always do evil they will always use every opportunity to sin. Noah was not just an ordinary man if you understand scripture Noah was a preacher, he was telling the people in that time to live right in a way that is pleasing to God. 2 PETER 2:5 “And God punished the evil people who lived long ago he brought a flood to the world that was full of people who were against God. But he saved Noah and seven other people with them, Noah was a man who told people about living right” Before God does anything as we have read, there is always a messenger to warn people to tell them to live right, to repent form their sins and this is what is happening even today. We have preachers, teachers, servants of God telling us to live right in a way that is right and pleasing to God, for these people are witnesses to the sins of the world. In reference to scripture, GENESIS 6:8~12, from the same scripture we understand that Noah is a man that pleased God he lived a righteous life and followed God that is why God saved him from the destruction that was coming. In the same scripture of Genesis 6:5, we see that people were very evil and they only thought about doing evil, This is what is happening even now, we cannot run away from the truth what was happening then in the time of Noah is what is happening now. Even now people are doing evil they are thinking about doing evil. It is freedom to not be ignorant of this, whether we like it or not a day is coming that God will pour out is wrath, his anger and judgment on the unrighteous people. I am telling you today just like Noah told the people in that time and yet did not listen to the words of Noah, they did not listen to the warnings of Noah, they did not change their ways of living. Change your ways now live a holy and righteous life before it is too late, just like it was in the days of Noah so shall it be also before the coming of Jesus Christ our Lord. There is no excuse for sin and no one should lie to you that we can escape the punishment of God, it is a lie from the pits of hell. Change today, repent today turn from your sinful ways before it is too late, you cannot say I will repent tomorrow only God knows what tomorrow holds. You can die in tomorrow so it has to be now that you must turn back to Christ Jesus. The consequences of sin Whatever goes against God is sin and we cannot give an excuse of going against God. God is not a man therefore he cannot be mocked. I stated earlier in this book that every road has a destination and that is the truth and I am glad to tell you the truth, cause in telling the truth I find happiness and truth. If someone today comes to you and encourages you to sin, telling you that you can sin all you want but will still go to heaven and that God will not punish you. What they are telling you is nothing but a lie, yes it is a lie whether you are a Christian or not it will still remain a lie. Whatever we do in life has consequences and this consequences can be either positive or negative. So you have to be responsible for them, if today I drive a car carelessly on a busy road the results will be that I will either I will cause accidents and in doing so I can kill myself or someone else will die because of my careless driving. If no one dies I will still be arrested by the police for careless driving, so you see that everything you do has consequences. You cannot run from it, you just have to face it. You now understand from the two previous topics I have talked of, Noah and the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. What caused the destruction of people both in Noah’s time and of Sodom and Gomorrah where there was an increase in the sins people did. So we know that sin leads to death God will punish people for the sins they commit, if today people don’t repent and turn away from them. A worker will perform his/her duties in a company and at the end of the day the worker will expect to receive a salary or money of the duties performed at that particular company. It is the way things are and we cannot escape this fact nobody will want to work for free in this harsh world. In reference to scripture, ROMANS 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our lord” The above scripture is telling us that the end result of sin is death that is why God destroyed the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah it was because of their sins. There is no escape to living in sin the end result is death that is the pay you will receive for living in sin. No one should lie to you that you can escape death it is a lie from the pits of hell even the person telling you this will die also. So it is up to you now to choose the right path. Follow Christ today and receive the eternal life, it is the only way to escape death. A way that seems right to people but it only leads to death The devil is not a fool if I can put it in this way so that you can understand this, he is cleaver this is why scripture tells us to be aware of the devils tricks the problem is that you think you know the devil but you actually know nothing about him. That is why many of you still live in ignorance of the truth. The devil knows what your heart desires, he knows what you really want and he uses his tricks on you, when the devil wants to destroy you he will use that which you desire the most, even bring something better that that which is right for you. So that you can miss the mark and fall into his trap as long as you are ignorant of this truth he will trap you into is tricks. Not every way is the right one the devil tricks you in a way that you will think what you are doing is right and you will be convinced that am doing the right thing, but the truth is the path you are on is the wrong path and it only leads to destruction. It amazes me today when you ask a person who likes to drink alcohol and clubbing they will tell you that they believe they will go to heaven despite their way of living. Those that think in this way its ignorance, they live in darkness. How can you be committing sin every day and expect to make it to heaven when Christ Jesus comes, this is not the right way of thinking and you must change your ways. In reference to scripture MATTHEW 7:13~14 “You can only enter true life through the narrow gate. The gate to hell is very wide and there is plenty of room on the road that leads there, many people go that way, but the gate that opens the way to true life is narrow and the road that leads there is hard to follow only a few people find it” In the above scripture we have learnt that the road that leads to hell is broad and many today are on that same road, it is easier to go to hell than to heaven. Many people today live in darkness they think what there are doing by living in sin they will make it to heaven, that they will have true life in Christ. I have news for you, it is only those who live in Christ will have true life and they will find the true path that leads to it. In life not every road or path is the right one to take if you see that many people are on that road or path know that it is not the right path that leads to true life quickly turn away from it and run to save your life for this path leads only to death. “STAY AWAY FROM THE PATH THAT LEADS TO DEATH” Accept Jesus Christ as your lord and personal savior that way the true path that leads to life will be made known to you. It is a blessing to be on this path, it’s wonderful. A life without god is dangerous There is nothing more dangerous on earth than living a life without GOD, yes it is more dangerous than death itself. Living a life without God is like a mobile phone without a battery or a car without a battery it cannot start for it does not have a power source, so it is as good as dead the same applies to people living a life without God. I have seen many today they live their lives any how they want, they say to themselves it is my life and I will do anything I want with it that saying is demonic, this kind of thinking will only lead you to nothing but destruction because this kind of path only leads to death. God is the light in this world without him this world is all nothing but darkness if today God was to remove the sun, moon and stars from their place in the heavens all we will have here is nothing but only darkness. So is the same even today if you live your life without God you are in darkness and are heading for nothing but destruction, your end result is death. In fact without God in your life you are already dead and are headed for destruction when Christ Jesus comes again. In reference to scripture, JOHN 14:6 “Jesus answered, I am the way, the truth and the life. The only way to the father is through me” The scripture above is teaching us that the only way that can save us from the path of destruction is through Jesus Christ only through him can we walk in the path that leads to eternal life, he is the truth and the truth is only in him. It is very difficult to live a life without Christ cause in doing so we are ignorant of the truth that is why many people are still in darkness they are still living a life without Christ because they don’t want to know the truth about him. Jesus Christ is the life, a life without Jesus Christ is nothing but death, it is only through him can we truly experience life, now if Jesus Christ is the life then a life without him is not a life. Many people who don’t have Christ in them, they have no life and are only heading for destruction. The reason why God destroyed the people in Noah’s time and the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah is because they lived a life without God. A life without God will only cause you to live in sin and in sin there is only darkness which leads to destruction. Have a life that is pleasing to God before it is too late change your ways now so that you will not walk on the path of death. Remember Jesus Christ is life. A punishable crime In life today as it is even in time past every kingdom or nation has got rules and laws that it is governed by these rules and laws help to bring order and peace in a nation or kingdom. Today we have laws as a country these laws are passed in parliament and become part of the constitution, once there are made part of the constitution it means we as citizens must abide by the laws as the people of that country. You cannot go against them so the laws guide us as a nation to maintain peace and order. The laws and rules are by which a kingdom or nation is governed today even in our working places and in the church also there are rules that are to be followed you cannot run away from this fact. Now every law or rule when one goes against it then a crime is committed so it becomes an offence, why? Because it is by the laws and rules that particular nation or kingdom is based upon. A crime is simply an offence against the laws and rules. For example if one today commits murder by killing a fellow person, you know that killing or taking one’s life is against the laws and rules of humanity, yes it is am sure most of you know are aware of this truth that murder is a punishable crime. The person that commits the murder has to face punishment under the courts of law so punishment has to be passed. The punishment will be imprisonment it can be for life or to serve many years in prison with hard labor to some, the punishment given is as a result of the crime of murder that was done by the convicted person. To every crime committed there will always be consequences, you cannot run away from this fact. The same is with humanity today, for God has set a day that he will judge this world a day he will punish mankind for its evil deeds. When you go against God by sinning and doing all kinds of evil there are consequences that come from doing the things that God does not like and that is through doing evil deeds and committing sin. In reference to scripture, ISAIAH 26:21 “For behold the lord is about to come out from his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity and the earth will reveal her bloodshed and will no longer cover her stain” In the above scripture that God will punish everyone on earth because of its iniquities {sins}, sin goes against Gods laws and the end result is punishment this you cannot escape if all you do is live in sin and always thinking about doing evil. The same book of ISAIAH 66:16 “For the lord will execute judgment by fire and by his sword on all flesh and those slain by the lord will be many” Judgment is coming to this world and to all flesh we cannot escape from it we have to face it. In reference to scripture, COLOSSIANS 3:6 “For it is because of those that the wrath of God will come upon the sons of disobedience” The things that will cause God to punish those that are disobedient to him and want to live a righteous life that is pleasing to God are the sins and evil these people do. “ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT FOR EVERY CRIME MADE THERE IS ALWAYS A CONSEQUENCE OR PUNISHMENT THAT COMES WITH IT” NO EXCUSE HIDDEN TRUTH WITHIN If today you commit a crime you cannot give an excuse that because in the first place you knew that if I do this, if I commit this crime then the consequences I will face. I will be punished so you cannot give an excuse as to why you committed that crime but must be ready to face the punishment that will be given to you. I assure you today that when the day of the lord comes no flesh on this earth will give an excuse as to why they lived the kind of life that was been disobedient to GOD by living in sin and doing all kinds of evil. we all know that there is GOD that we cannot deny you might try convince yourself that GOD does not exist and that he won’t punish us for our sins, but the truth to the matter is that deep down in our hearts and spirit we know that GOD is there, we know that GOD exists so we cannot give an excuse as to why we live in sin. in reference to scripture; Romans 1:18~19 "God shows his anger from heaven against all the evil and wrong things that people do. Their evil lives hide the truth they have, this makes GOD angry because they have been shown what he is like yes God has made it clear to them" The scripture above is telling us that everyone on this earth has the truth in them regardless of being disobedient to God and committing sin and evil, the truth is in them they know that what am doing is against the will of God and know that God is against sin and evil. Many are the times that people regardless of them knowing the truth they still live in sin , someone who drinks alcohol, like clubbing and doing all sorts of things just to please themselves will tell you that they believe in God but they still live in sin. The fact that they believe in him and still live in sin is ignorance of the truth that is in them and their path only lead to destruction. "THERE IS NO EXCUSE" NO EXCAPE DEATH IS NOT THE WAY OUT Many today think that they will live the kind of life they want, do whatever pleases them here on earth without acknowledging that there is God and that God wants us to live a righteous life that is pleasing to him. They say to themselves we will escape the punishment by death when we die, God wont judge us he won’t punish us. This kind of thinking is nothing but a lie form the pits of darkness it is an error to think in this way, it is nothing but only ignorance. The truth is that death is not the way out you see, death only takes away the life that we have here on earth but the journey still continues with our spirits even in death life still continues but not in the physical for it becomes a spiritual journey and from there we continue the journey. Your spirit continues the journey but its destination will depend on the kind of life that you once lived here on earth, the life you have now will determine your destination after death takes you from the physical life. We cannot escape from God this we cannot do even in death we still have to answer for the kind of life we lived here on earth. In reference to Scripture; 1 peter 3:19~20 "And by the spirit he went and preached to the spirits in prison. These were the spirits who refused to obey God long ago in the time of Noah, God was waiting patiently for people while Noah was building that big boat and only a few were saved through the flood water" The scripture above tells us that Jesus Christ went to preach to the spirits that were in prison and that this spirits were the people in Noah’s time that disobeyed GOD. Imagine these were people that lived a long time ago even before Jesus Christ came to this world, their lives here on earth had ended but their spirits continued the journey in the next life and were in prison. This tells us that we cannot escape through death from the punishment of God, even after death here on earth we still live on in form of spirits cause life is spiritual, before God gave us our physical body we were first spirits and still are spirits this is why the flesh returns to dust but our spirits cannot because a spirit is not made of flesh so it continues to the next journey after the one on earth. We cannot escape from been judged by GOD that we cannot do
