Tyler's pic above. _____ Lolita's hand rubbed away her tears, as she took in the scent of freshly cut grass, and rain her heart warmed up at the aroma suddenly she felt excited at the thought of sighting the one who held such a a scent. Her hope was gone when she was dragged by the cell that was empty, she shook her head in disappointment, and glanced up at the window in the cell in confusion; what cell has a window? Lolita thought to herself, her brother followed her gaze and they both shared hope. Maybe escaping wouldn't be so hard. "Consider joining our pack," The warrior who was responsible whispered as he opened a cell, "You both are too young to die." "Yeah, like those kids you killed?" Tyler spat back, his eyes narrowed, and the warrior stared back as if he said nothing at all with an unreadable look on his face. He forcefully shoved the pair in, the two teenagers looked up at the wall, and their hopes shattered when they saw this cell unlike the other didn't have a window. They were stuck. ____ Lolita could feel the bile that rose up in her throat, she forcefully suppressed it as her gaze landed on stairs where he'd emerged any second; the one the who destroyed her life, the Alpha of this pack. The Devil himself. The Gamma had taken over the warriors position; taking all the captives to the pack house where a large crowd gathered, and even though they were no longer prisoners the captives still wore the heavy cuffs on them. Lolita rolled her eyes as a smiling woman stepped in front of her view, she scoffed at the whiff of the woman's cheap perfume, and her long straight red hair that sway with her excited jumps. Happy to see The Alpha. The grand doors opened, the creek of it's wood against the floor making all the pack members silent, and not one person made a sound. Soon the only sound was heavy footsteps, the fear of the crowd could be felt a mild away, and gulps of terror were heard among that gathered in the grand hall. Lolita simply looked in terror once The Devil stood before them all, his thin frame towered over all on the stairs, his face sharp held a harsh scar; the thin red mark stretching over his ebony face from his jaw to his eye. Thin black eyebrows like the color of his choppy hair furrowed in amusement as his dark emotionless eyes observed every captive. Once his seemingly lifeless eyes landed on Lolita's eyes, she felt herself stiffen, as a wicked grin took over his face. The pack members slowly turned towards the girl who held their Alpha's gaze; the girl herself didn't know why he looked at her in such a matter. After all, she wasn't his mate. "Accept the allegiance of this pack." Lolita's brown eyes landed on her brother Tyler's, the two teens didn't know what to choose; they knew they may have lost their pack, their parents, but still they had each other. "Y-yes." Lolita nodded weakly. Tyler mumbled his agreement the two siblings both looked equally horrified as the pack members scream happily with applause in excitement. The rest of the captives each made their choice more choosing life over death; even if it meant being in the horrid Archfriend woods pack. The captives were each given vows to state; The Alpha watched them all recite what they were told, and as always his eyes stayed on one specific girl. After each words were spoken, the crowd formed an entrance like the red sea, and parted for the aspiring pack members. Everyone stepped towards The Alpha after he swiftly came down the steps, with a knife in hand, and a bowl to collect blood in the other he made everyone who recited the chants a member of the pack. Lolita's hate for the filth intensified as her palm was cut, blood slowly oozing out the fresh wound, and she choked back tears as she felt an immediate connection to the horrid pack. Her life an ongoing nightmare. ___*___ "Good, huh?" One of the pack members asked referring to the pile of food upon the table, near the newly turned members, "I swear the best thing 'bout this place is the food." The young man chirped his hazel eyes glowed excitedly, brown skinned chubby cheeks redden with glee, and his kinky hair trimmed neatly as he munched on a raw steak. Lolita only faked a smiled at the seemingly friendly pack member as she stared at her bowl of soup uninterested. Lolita twirled her spoon sadly in the broth of the unpleasant soup; no one made soup like their mom who was an amiable selfless woman, a widow who's mate that fathered her children died in a rogue attack, and her mother never fuss when she raised them on her own. Lolita's father was a Beta in their pack so she was told, if her brother had been of age he would've be ranked as Beta, and endured the attack much worst. She watched quietly as her brother kept to himself, the butthead didn't even say a word, but just took mouthfuls out of the steak on his plate. Tyler looked down nullifying failing to save him, and his little sister from this fate. His brown eyes landed on hers, she gave him a unrequited grin, and shook her head sighing at his morose temper. Unlike most packs that dance in a ballroom after having new members, this one simply ate, and it was obvious why the pack members consider this a 'celebration'. They weren't allowed to eat without The Alpha's consent, those that were are the ones high in ranking, and if one break such a rule they were executed. So, Lolita was told. "He's staring at you." "Who?" Lolita asked confused. Her acquaintance Anna from her old pack grinned widely, her brown neatly groomed eyebrows arched over her brown eyes, and slyly she motioned towards the main table; where The Alpha sat. Lolita swallowed her nerves as his dark eyes stared at hers, she shakily exhaled, and glanced away hoping he'd drop dead. "Oh, kill me now." Lolita mumbled to her two timing friend's abrasive knowing smile, her betraying friend acted as if this sick pack hadn't murdered their family just days ago, and interacted so easily with pack members twirling her straight brown locks around her fingers nodding happily to every word that they said. "Ah, how nice, " Lolita's eyes landed on a heavy set pack member, who grinned wickedly his pudgy face widening moreso, "I could so use a punching bag." The stocky pink faced man blurted suddenly, his narrowed eyes staring past Lolita's towards the doorway. When grin broke out on the man's face his grey eyes suddenly became black without emotion, and a snarl formed on his face. "Break his jaw," Lolita watched wide eyed as the youth who appeared nice minutes ago become merciless, "He hadn't up clean my shoe." The boy said blankly trying to explain to himself to a speechless Lolita, her breathing only got more frantic, and her eyes widening more so when that scent; the scent from earlier hit her. Lolita gasped, her brother's attention now on her, yet she paid no mind to him or anyone else. Lolita whirled around in her seat, towards the hallway entrance where the omega of the pack stood; holding tons of trays ready to gather all the pack members rubbish, and her breath was taken from her. Black raven hair covered his eyes; eyes her heart ached to see, an obvious masculine frame that towered over all despite the baggy rags that covered it, and his harsh virile striking features made her weak in the knees. Mate. Yet before Lolita's brown eyes could meet his, the trash mouthed pack member was out of his seat with a fist raised, and looks to kill as he raced towards her mate. Before she could even sprint after him, she heard the loud impact of glass upon the tile floor. And all she saw was red. ___*.
