"Here you are, miss,"Fluffy blankets were placed in Lolita's arms, as she moved towards the bed in the exquisite room, "Gifts from The Alpha."
The bright ivory curtains covered the large windows where sun would shone any moment; the curtains colors matching that of the grand size queen bed, and Lolita only swallowed a sob as the omega ranked servant moved towards the bed placing the thick cashmere materials down.
The young girl smiled at her sadly, her pale skin seeminly ghostly from lack of food, and her sadden youthful oval face appearing fuller since all her thin auburn hair was pulled back in a bun. The thin blue cloth hung loosely to her knees, her feet bare, and her grey eyes appearing warm.
"Thank you," Lolita forced out, her voice thick with grief, "You didn't have to."
"It is my job." The young girl said with finality, her eyes telling Lolita what she said was taken wrongly. "I'd go out with him, if I were you."
"No, you wouldn't."
"'Of course, I would," The servant spat in anger,"I'd be living life differently than now."
Lolita didn't respond.
The servant sighed before stomping on her way out, the boxes filled with clothing she left still on the bed, and the poor girl could only slump down on the master bed in defeat.
Mate.
Lolita simply crawled in the bed, a lousy attempt to force out her wolf's whining for her newly found mate, and it was to no use. To say she was a cry baby was an understatement; she was the cry baby of cry babies.
After all the hell she's been put through, another wretched thing has to take place, and she shoved her head in the pillow.
The Alpha had taken a liking to her alright, a definite one, and had ordered for her to stay in one of the main chambers; the one right across from his. Who knew he could like someone.
Lolita thought inwardly.
She suddenly sat up in the bed, as she raced towards the grand windows, and stared out; night times in Montana were always pitch dark, mountains could be seen from miles, and Lolita swallowed her fear as she took a sheet the abomination so 'generously' given her.
Her brother needed her, having seeing his sister intervening in the pack members fight and pulled away by the man they loath Tyler did what any big brother would do, and that included fighting him.
Well, attempting to because the guards blocked him before he could even land a punch on the ruthless man's face.
The Alpha had only smirked at Tyler, before ordering what he saw best execution but before his guards could see to it.
Lolita begged for mercy, even going as saying she'd do anything for her brother life, and if that meant being his mate she'd do it she said. That was what she said; her honesty like Pinocchio's.
For she already had a mate.
Her small frame jumped as she pushed up the gigantic window, Montana's midnight breeze immediately hitting her in the face, yet she paid it no mind proceeding to hang one leg off the window's frame.
____*____
The castle's gates opened for it's guest; the large gates against the granite ground producing a squeaking noise making the castle's owner raise an eyebrow as he sat up in his thrown ready to greet whomever was to come.
The man entered, his head lowered as he walked past the castle's guards who looked at him recognition, and he simply gulped down his nerves once eyes black as night stared into his soul; he knew The King wasn't one for jests. He too was skeptic of his findings, yet he couldn't hide what he saw.
He bowed his head in respect.
"You may speak."
"Your highness," The man's voice came out shaky, making The King's eyes narrow in amusement," I have come to tell of uncanny news."
The King sat up straighter in his chair; his angular face seldom, the thick brown brows lift up in wonder, and his jaw squared making the weakling before him more frighten as his thin frame shifted around nervously; the man blue eyes stared bashfully into his brown ones.
"Regarding wolves, your highness."
The man scawny frame shook in fright when The King eyes turned red im rage, his eyes watched in terror as fangs began to emerged from his teeth, and his pale face began to form into a deathly sneer that showcased his fangs for the worst. "You dare, come in my presence to speak of such filth?"
The man spluttered regretting taking the position as messenger, he shook his head, and said, "They have the child."
It seemed as if time stopped.
The man shrunk back after what he blurted sunk in The King's face, he wordlessly prayed that his honor wouldn't be skeptical regarding this, because he rather take a stake to the heart rather than have The King's wrath.
"I followed the scent." The royal messenger said, "It bought me to a territory that belong to wolves, but I know they have the child your honor. I believe they raised it as their own."
"You know the wolf pack, I presume?" He may have said if as a question, yet the messenger wasn't foolish to know he wanted a certain answer.
"Yes, your highness," The royal messenger nodded his head, his blond locks shaking with the action, "The Archfriend woods pack."
"Give word to the knights," The King rose from his throne, "I demand war."
