"Hey Rosetta, come on let's get ready for the last day of school and afterwards got to keep on packing we're almost done!" said my sister and roommate Jessica Blitzewitz.
"No kidding, sooner we get all packed sooner we can leave town and check out our new home. did you know they have five different art museums in the town of Jasperwarts, which is right next door to our new hometown?" I asked.
"Strange name but of course you'd be the one looking for the closest art museum, and actually being excited for the fact there's more than one nearby unlike here." Jessica laughed.
So true I love art and I love going to the nearest art museum over and over again for inspiration. See I'm a bit of an artist and fashionista I quite love literally making my art into an outfit. see I would pin up my canvas on to a boxed board and paint my heart out then of course protecting my beautiful artwork with protectant and while it's drying seeing and coming up with a piece of clothing that would make this artwork look even more so beautiful. Of course this might take a few days but once I have my outfit in mind I go to work in making it! And yes out of my canvas painting.
Of course My adoptive parents absolutely love this cuz it is cheaper on them on buying me clothes cuz all they have to do is buy me canvas! And yes I did say that right my adopted parents. Our road together started a little rocky and it is not always smooth now either LOL but we make it work by accepting each other as we are, and I love it! our family is a little different we have a little bit of everything and therefore it is quite a struggle for everyone to be happy but our parents try their best. I've only been adopted the last couple months and wonderfully to a mother that was in fact my mother's best friend.
Unfortunately my mother had died in a fire when I was five, we were having a family reunion and us kids was told to go outside all I remember is the place smelled funny. and later there was a big fire and explosion unfortunately killing everyone inside leaving the few of us kids outside orphans with Uncle Tom. About seven of us left in all including Tom who was the oldest of about 15 years. We were all separated of course but we kept in contact due to the fact we were the only family we had left. and even though we were trying to get together unfortunately some "accidents" kept happening and now there's only Uncle Tom and me. we keep in contact through letters however his last few have been strange he keeps talking about some strange people stalking him at work and he just has a strange feeling about them like his instincts are on hyper Drive. he usually writes me at least once a week but the last couple of weeks I haven't gotten a letter getting kind of worried. because he never has missed a week yet but maybe I'm reading into things and he just hasn't had the time, he knows I worry due to all the "accidents" when we were kids causing our cousins death.
My Uncle Tom actually suggested the town we are going to be moving to as for the safety of myself. I don't know why this town is special but some part of me is just super excited as to finding out why so of course I've been researching the town and all the surrounding ones in good hangout spots, old and new, and trying to find the overall atmosphere of the place. so far besides the Erie distinguished Woods all over the place and the plethora of art museums nearby was not really anything that sticks out at least not recently. back in the 17 to 1800s it was rumored to be a stronghold of mythological vampire families that were in fact dying out, due to the fact that supposedly something was different about these specific vampires although the difference was not identified.
As we got to school, "Hey freak! Did your home planet contact you and want to beam you back up yet?" laughed Beyonce, the head cheerleader.
"No, but they did say if any of you Earthlings irritate me too much I can always zap you with my laser vision. And enjoy watching you melt like the plastic that you are." evil smile ?
"oooooh" responded everyone around of course death glare from her
"Don't Listen to her B, today is the last day we have to deal with her and her whole nutty family. They're moving remember?" says Josephine sweetly
"Not fast enough" says B under her breath.
"Now that I'll agree with you there! but we both have just one more day to deal with each other and then you'll have Summer and the rest of your life without me." I responded.
"Speaking of which Rosetta, is it true are you moving to Blanchard, Pennsylvania AKA vampire City?" asked Troy our school quarterback. "Aren't you afraid of them drinking you crazy? oh wait you're already there".
"Yep, and maybe I'll convince a few of them to move back here to suck the stupid out of you! but they're vampires they're not miracle workers." his friends gag on their Powerade trying not to laugh.
"I am so going to miss you, not!" responded B with a huff, hair flip, and they walk off. life is full of surprises because as they walk off the plane Club decides to make an appearance with every plane lodging down the hallway into their Direction and of course B is crying out "don't let it in my hair don't let it in my hair" while the other girls are just screeching and dunking out of the way. Life is Beautiful!
And the fact my one and only friend is barreling down the hallway along with them is just a happy coincidence. what can I say I like the oddballs. and the fact we had met right as he and his friends were sliming the whole football team using the same said planes made it at least start our friendship with a laugh. we weren't the closest more like laughing and prank Buddies but at the very least I know he will have other friends to chill and hang out with as while I'll be moving across the country.
the rest of our day was quite uneventful, just classes that we really didn't do much as it was our last day and the teachers were extra nice and I believe looking forward to Summer themselves. I cannot believe I turn 16 this summer and we'll be starting at a new school. do you know that feeling right as you go on a roller coaster and you know you're going up the hill extra slow and you know what's going to be coming when you go down on said roller coaster all that excitement but at the same time you want to throw up that's how I felt at that moment and I don't know why. We'll see I guess.
