Sena's POV
I woke up again because of the cold breeze of air coming from the air-con.
When I look at the back, I saw the handsome face of a guy who's softly sleeping while holding my waist.
I don't even know why I'm smiling just by mere watching his cute physique while asleep.
I let my eyes roam around his face.
"Stop it Honey. I might melt with that kind of stare you're giving me."
Crazy!
He's already awake and just pretending to be asleep.
Slowly by slowly, Rex stood up and then headed to my bedside table. I saw him carrying a tray filled with different foods.
He's smiling widely again at me.
Damn heart please stop beating wild. He might hear you!
"Honey these are not that hot because it's been an hour since I cooked these. I was about to give these to you but when I entered your room I noticed that you're fast asleep. But don't worry, I'm sure these still taste the same. All of these taste delicious. Promise!"
Oh so this handsome guy knows how to boast!
Then let me be the judge. Let's taste what he cooked for me.
I held the spoon and started digging in.
Damn, he's really not joking. This food taste like heaven. It's very delicious.
I started eating my heart out.
Hmmmmmmm.
"Hey Honey! What can you say? Is it delicious or not?"
I chuckled when I saw Rex looking nervously while waiting for my answer.
A sudden idea popped on my mind.
I smiled mischievously.
Bwahahahahaha
I eyed him intently while shrugging. I even frown to make myself look disappointed so that it will be much more convincing.
"This taste bad. It's not delicious." I said disappointingly.
His dark eyes went huge and he looked stunned because of what I said.
"R-really? Ahm do you want me to cook another dish for you? Promise I'll make sure that it will taste good this time!"
I couldn't stop myself anymore. I laugh and laugh because of the epic look on his face.
"Honey why are you laughing? Tss, you're mocking me again."
He frowned when he noticed me still stifling a laugh.
Damn, even when he's mad he still looks devilishly handsome.
"I'm just joking around Rex. It's always fun teasing you. But I want to inform you that all of these taste good. Very delicious. So do you feel okay right now?"
But he's still frowning at me.
"While savoring the food in my mouth I can say that it's so damn delicious. So stop frowning already. Smile Rex. You look more handsome when you're smiling."
I noticed a small curve that's slowly forming on his lips.
He then smiled at me as if he just won a lottery game.
Sh*t my heart skipped a beat again.
And I realized that those things fluttering on my stomach are not just butterflies. He's giving me a whole damn zoo.
"Honey I told you! I'm right when I said that the food I cooked for you taste good. I cook well when I feel inspired. Do I look more handsome to you right now?"
It's my turn to smile right now.
If he can just read what's on my mind then he'll start boasting again.
"You're right, you have great cooking skills. An ideal boyfriend indeed. Do you want me to find the right girl for you? Someone who knows how to cook well too. Not like me who always fail when it comes to cooking.” I smiled while teasing him.
But behind that smile, there lies vast sadness. Sadness that’s slowly clouding my heart. Making it ache.
I’m feeling disappointed and sad because I can’t stop myself for being insecure to the girl who will suit him well. I’m sure there’s someone who can make him happier. Not me. Someone who’s prettier and above me in a lot of aspects.
I’ll just smile just to hide this sad thoughts of mine.
Never in my life that I’ve been this insecure. Just now.
I don’t know why I felt hurt and furious just by picturing Rex smiling genuinely at another girl on my mind.
But I can’t do anything because he’s not mine. I can’t be selfish of him because we are not even a couple. He just confessed that he likes me. Nothing more.
I noticed a crease forming on his forehead. And he’s not smiling anymore.
“I don’t need a girl who can cook. I only want you.” He said seriously while eyeing me intently.
I closed my eyes when he softly caress my face.
“I love the fact that you don’t know how to cook, I like doing it for you. And don’t you dare pushed me again with another girl. Is it still not clear to you that you’re the only woman I like? No one else but you.” Then he sighed.
“I like you so damn much that it drives me crazy. This feeling makes me selfish of you. That my visions became darker and I just want to punch all the guys who’s talking or even staring at you.”
The sadness and insecurities I’m feeling earlier suddenly subsided.
Rex’s words can manage to change my mood instantly.
“But how about if you found a girl who’s far more pretty than me? A girl who’s sexier, smart, and knows how to cook well. I bet you’ll just forget about me.” I mumbled while pouting.
“Stop thinking that way Honey. You’re all I need. Stop being insecure, okay? Because even if you ask me a million of times, my answer is still the same. For me, you are the most gorgeous girl I ever saw in my entire life. You, Sena Ley Ravin is more than enough for me.”
Then he lowered his head and put a light kiss on my forehead.
It’s as if a hand caress my heart because of what he said. And I have to admit that I’m feeling elated again because of his simple yet sweetest actions towards me.
