Hundreds of warriors flood the gates of the base led by members of the Authority. It does not appear as if they encountered the fleeing Libertas members that dispersed moments before their arrival. The Libertas just simply vanished. But they are no longer my concern. There are more than enough people here qualified to worry about where the hell they've gone, I don't need to be one of them agonizing over the Houdini act when Lazarus can barely hold himself up.
"We should get him back to the palace, now." I say, speaking to Benjamin who keeps a hand firmly on Lazarus's shoulder.
