The news has my mouth dropping. I never heard anything about an aunt before today. Lazarus's family was brutally murdered, it was the most media covered story then and until now. The devastating loss of the King and Queen, leaves the young princes with the responsibility of raising their younger sister and ruling an entire kingdom with barely a clue. Surely the world would know of another surviving royal after the witch murders? Surely an aunt would have taken the three children into her care? Or at the very least, the throne?
"I thought all your family was dead apart from your siblings?" I ask in disbelief.
