Halmara Palace sits on a slight hill, elevating it over the widespread forest landscape. I've had very little opportunity to take in the dazzling castle-styled palace with its stone and brick walls, and blue roofs that point into the sky. Small gardens decorate the different levels but the true spectacle is the ancient forest, beautifully manicured on the grounds that surround the private palace and its inhabitants. A clearing has been carved into the living forest from the bottom level of the south side of the palace. It serves to create a grass covered field, easily accessible to the palace's gym and common weapons room.
