The ceremony was short and sweet, and I breathed a sigh of relief when the minister announced Clay and Dean married. They kissed, everyone clapped, and pictures were taken. Thankfully, I was only in a few of them. I couldn’t even imagine having my ex in my wedding photos. What would Dean tell people who viewed the photos and asked who I was? I could see Clay telling the truth about our relationship, but I wondered if Dean would be as forthcoming. Would he tell people I was a friend of Clay’s or fess up and admit that I was Clay’s old boyfriend? As soon as the photographer dismissed me, I headed straight for the bar.
